It’s always nice to be able to shoot at 4k 120fps but it’s also good to not overdo it with the ZV-E1 so you don’t possibly overheat!😅

Congrats on the order! 😎 and I use the cinebloom 10% and a variable ND filter. They’re in my description of videos usually the ones I personally like and use that are by Moment.
I’ve heard the complaints about the 4k 120 time constraints, but if you are shooting long form content at 4k 120, you clearly have more issues than overheating 😅. I have shot over 15 minutes of continuous 4K 120 on the ZV-E1, and on a 4K 24 timeline, that’s over an hour of slow motion footage 🤷🏽. I’m not sure who needs that much 4K 120 or what it could practically be used for, but 4K 60 for majority of ppl is more than enough.
So true! 😂 I just shoot short clips in small batches and it works fine haha if I ever need that much I’ll use my a7siii

how much 4k60 do you get before overheating
I made a video on this also which i knwo you know. So obvsiously everyone cant be complaining about the same thing.
I have been getting a lot of ‘hot pixels’ on mine, only visible in high ISO dark environments. Seems to be when the sensor heats up.
I’ve heard about that with the a7iv in the photos part of the shadows apparently so might happen as well with the video. I don’t usually shoot for that long to get that overheating issues but also haven’t looked into it that much.
I still can't decide between the ZV-E1 or the A7Cii, I'm a video editor but I would love to buy my first camera to start shooting videos and photos when I travel or when I go for a walk in the city (I do mostly video). But can't decide, if anyone can help me, I would truly appreciate it!
Do you want to get into more photo at anytime? And can you survive without 4k 120fps? Then id say get the a7cii so you can do great photos with a mechanical shutter, and then have a great 4k 24fps and 4k 60fps with a crop! But if you need more video centred then the zve1 is something you can’t go wrong with! I love mine after getting it!

Did you have any problem with overheating?
I haven’t personally. It’s gotten warm to the touch sometimes after long use throughout the day but never overheated or turned off.

Nah not really. Only would get rid of it if something better eventually comes out but this works well for me like I said in the video.
will it overheat on 1080p 60fps?
I haven’t tested that since I always shoot in 4K. But I’m sure it should be fine as long as you’re not shooting in a consistent period for a long time.

@@johnkennethquinahan4877 I haven’t had it overheated on me but I also don’t film in one continuous burst. Like I’ll record small clips and it’ll be a bit but never had it overheat on me
Is it crop ?
There is like a slight crop from what I remember but nothing major like the a7iv does with the 4k 60
