I’m going through the roughest time in my life right now! So many odds are against me, I listen to this song every night with my 8 month old baby laying on my chest praying & crying with this song on repeat until I fall asleep! This song is so anointed! He knows better than us, and we cannot lean on thy own understanding. It just won’t work!! I thank God for his revelation in this beautiful song ❤🙌🏾
Last year, I was in a lot of psychological and physical pain. I lost all hope, and had lived in anger, hatred, and confusion. I often cried to God, "Why me? Why did you give me this agony? WHY?" But now that I have gone through that, I realize that I can't understand everything God does to us, and that we shouldn't even try to. For it only leads to resentment and anger. And that isn't what God wants. He wants us to be happy, to pray, and be thankful for everything, even hardships. And remember, He never gives you hardships that you can't bear. You are STRONGER than you know. God believes in you, and wants you to feel better. I propose a prayer. "God, I believe that you know better than I, so I leave my heart to you. I have faith in you."
I remember being bullied for having Down Syndrome since I was in Kindergarten through my Freshman year in college. I lost all my confidence, faith and hope. I wasn’t able to back to church from all that pain that I was experiencing. But then, for 4 years now , I started working at a catholic school and I realized that I had regained all my confidence, faith and hope. So, I began to reconnect back to God and went to church. I have never been so proud of myself that I’m a teacher for who I am today.
This song right here is the definition of what it means to truly surrender your life to God and have him be the one that leads your path. Many times when we try to go our own paths, we end up failing and have unfortunate things happen to us both physically and emotionally. Why? Because we don't let God be the one that leads us. That's why we as humans sometimes tend to fail. I know I've made that mistake before where "I thought I chose the surest road" only to have ended up with many disappointments in life. Things the could have been avoided but I learned that the hard way, unfortunately.
I'm having hard time emotionally here in South Korea, studying for entrance exam for pharm school. I've been putting all my effort to get prepared for this test and it has passed almost one year, but every time I take mock exams these days, I feel like I'm not going to make it. And I've totally lost hope recently, just lying on my bed being depressed and don't know what to do for the last two weeks. I think what I need to do at this moment is totally surrender my life to God and just do what I can do for last two weeks, no matter which result he will give it to me. Even though he does not lead me to go to pharm school, I want to keep faith in him.
@@har5745 If you care about getting into that school, then so does God, because He cares about you and everything you do. He will always give you the strength to do that which you want to accomplish. And I just said a prayer for you also, a total stranger on the internet, because you cannot have peace as an atheist and I know this, and I truly want you to be convinced in your heart that God is alive and working, and that he cares for you more than you could possibly know.
Favourite song of all time, and in my opinion the greatest song ever written. I listen to it everyday, and it has actually helped me during difficult times in my life, it's helped me remain positive and have strong faith in God.
The tree in this scene perfectly captures the song. The tree was dying, and Joseph was put in that prison by God, not understanding why. Until he starts working on that tree and it ends up growing. It seems so insignificant, and yet at the end of the song, that tree is healthy and Joseph stands humbly next to it, knowing that God brought that tree to life and praising Him beside it. We often don’t know why God puts us in the situations that He does, but He does, and when we trust Him, His work is done. And that is always a good thing, because He is good. He knows better than I.
I wonder if the people who created the movie knew the correlation between the tree of life and how it’s a symbol for Christ and that by working on the tree, Joseph was working on his relationship with, and trust in, Jesus and nurturing and building his testimony. It’s so cool when you start to see all the connections.😊

I haven't been able to connect with faith like I could when I was younger. I come back to this song when I need a reminder that sometimes it's ok not to know what I'm doing
It’s been about 20 years since I’ve first seen this. And I still know it word for word - yet now that I’m older, it’s so much more real for me and my existence. Blessed be the name of YHWH, and his ever expansive knowledge. And blessed is he for having a plan for be through it all. Truly, he knows better than I.
I so loved this movie and Prince of Egypt when I was a kid, and I still do. I wish they would make another like them telling of the Life and teachings of Jesus Christ.
Definitely the best song in the movie, and my favourite one too, as it explains that God has purpose for all of us and he knows what our lives is going to be like, for knows better than we do.
And Joseph's life foreshadowed Christ's life too. Joseph was also sold for 30 pieces of silver. He was the object of his Father's special love. To my knowledge, none of Joseph's sins were recorded in scripture, in the similar way that Jesus was without sin. Joseph was stripped of his robe, and so was Christ at the cross. Joseph after suffering persecution was elevated to royalty. Christ was elevated back to the right hand of God, and to his place of royalty following his earthly persecution. And there's more similarities, it's so fascinating.
Jesus was, and is, not just a human; He is God. To deny His divinity and say that He was just a man sent by God, and not God, is blasphemy, so recognize and accept the fact that Jesus Christ is, in-fact God, and that He died for our sins. so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but will have eternal life. "The Father and I [Jesus] are one". - John 10:30 (NLT). "And who is a liar? Anyone who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Anyone who denies the Father and the Son is an antichrist. Anyone who denies the Son doesn't have the Father either. But anyone who acknowledges the Son has the Father also".- 1John 2:22-23 (NLT).

Even as a pagan I respect this song and its lesson, sometimes we must let go of the steering wheel and allow the gods to do their work. Fate and divine knowledge exist in many forms and sometimes it is best "let go of the need to know why"
"Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." 2 Corinthians 6:2 Friend, it's never too late to turn from the wickedness that we've all been born into...until it is. Know Jesus loves us all and died and rose again so we could spend eternity with Him. We never know when we'll take our last breath so don't waste another day.
I like to listen to this song to remind me that God knows best. It helps me see him more as a father rather than a ruler. (though I understand he deserves respect)
The Lord has us all, he will guide us. He never gave us up he YEARNS FOR US he wants us back...let us accept the lord into our hearts....❤ repent....repent

I like how the cover of Joseph is in front of potiphar like how potiphar is standing behind Joseph it always makes me emotional because that's God standing behind us❤
You being a Jew does mean that you are part of God's chosen people, assuming you meant that in the biological sense and not in the sense that you merely converted to Judaism, but that doesn't really matter that much. God doesn't have favoritism, so no matter if you are a Jew or non-Jew, God requires the same from each of us: repentance of sin and subsequent turing to God, as well as faith in Jesus Christ, which produces the former. While God is faithful to fulfill His promises, including, of course, those He made to His chosen people, the Jews, you being a Jew won't protect you from God's wrath. Therefore, turn to Christ and submit yourself to Him. Repent and have faith.
As a Christian myself, I find this song amazing and inspirational.

Yep pretty much faith the small as a mustard seed... The scene is resonating with me so much right now.
Knowing that your way does not and following God's way is the first step to healing, forgiveness, and wisdom.
I haven't been able to connect with faith like I could when I was younger. I come back to this song when I need a reminder that sometimes it's ok not to know what I'm doing
I was about sweeping this morning and this song made me remember my childhood
Brought out the forgotten child in me🥹
God Is Good, All The Time!
All The Time, God Is Good!
The sweetest song ever!
Thank you for the upload i love this song
It’s been about 20 years since I’ve first seen this. And I still know it word for word - yet now that I’m older, it’s so much more real for me and my existence.
Blessed be the name of YHWH, and his ever expansive knowledge. And blessed is he for having a plan for be through it all. Truly, he knows better than I.
I so loved this movie and Prince of Egypt when I was a kid, and I still do. I wish they would make another like them telling of the Life and teachings of Jesus Christ.
I just love this song!
2:50 - My favorite part of the song
I so agree I love the key change
This movie could never live up to Prince of Egypt, but this song was the one part of it that was on the level of its amazing predecessor
Just rewatched this movie last night. This song is just as good as it was when I last heard it! (And it has been stuck in my head ever since)
This song and movie make me cry like a baby
Definitely the best song in the movie, and my favourite one too, as it explains that God has purpose for all of us and he knows what our lives is going to be like, for knows better than we do.
this song should be in churches
One reason the song’s wonderful is that the words of it are our owns too
This song is everything! Thank you for uploading x
In these moments of my life, this song is a literal description of me, and how I shouldn't give up and hope.
Always got me though depression
I’m a Muslim but the story of Joseph is covered in the Quran as well. This song brought tears to my eyes.
Saaaaaame
Joseph's life points to Christ as the one true Son of God, a Person of the Trinity.
I love this movie 😍
This was one of my favourite song growing up
I listened to this after going to something I swore off… now I know what I must do.
I'mma say this, you don't need to be a Christian to enjoy this song.
Agnostic here. Love this song!
Would you like to know who He is?
@@gonzalezdeorense792 nah, I’m good.
Thanks for the thought tho.
@@kendallewis1753 Okay. But if you change your mind, you know where to find me.
You're welcome here.😊 Also this song is so beautiful, even just as a musical composition. That keychange... 😮just wow. And the lyrics.🤌
@@gonzalezdeorense792 if you are ever interested in the word of God, not everyone will agree with me on this but start with the book of Enoch and Ezekiel 1, and I don't usually say this, but trust me bro you will be fascinated by the description of the angels and how they gave humans more knowledge of science which allowed us to advance in technology, but of course it's up to you and I will always respect your free will either way thank you for reading my reply
This song is awesome

Even as a pagan I respect this song and its lesson, sometimes we must let go of the steering wheel and allow the gods to do their work. Fate and divine knowledge exist in many forms and sometimes it is best "let go of the need to know why"
"Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." 2 Corinthians 6:2
Friend, it's never too late to turn from the wickedness that we've all been born into...until it is. Know Jesus loves us all and died and rose again so we could spend eternity with Him. We never know when we'll take our last breath so don't waste another day.
I like to listen to this song to remind me that God knows best. It helps me see him more as a father rather than a ruler. (though I understand he deserves respect)
I'll Always listen to this song 🎵 😌 💕
The Lord has us all, he will guide us. He never gave us up he YEARNS FOR US he wants us back...let us accept the lord into our hearts....❤ repent....repent
“I saw one cloud and thought it was the sky” I need that reminder that one cloud is not the sky

you're miracle child
I may not believe, but I am Jewish, and for that, God will always be a part of me, faith or not!

Zuleika disliked this because she didn’t get the one night stand she wanted.
