The purpose of this re-upload was not to give off the appearance of a “new reactor” with old footage, but simply to re-work something that I felt wasn’t quite right the first time I released it. The older version was a lot longer and had a lot more of our channel goals in mind, not necessarily just focusing on Dimash. A Dimash concert lasts for 2.5 to 3 hours with him only taking a few very short costume change breaks. He sings between 25 to 30 songs and every one is different. He goes from fast paced to slow ballads and back again. His next concert is in Almaty, Kazakhstan on 23rd September with apparently a lot of new material. Sales opened a week ago and In the first 15 minutes of ticket sales, tickets were bought from over 36 countries. It's being held in one of the biggest stadiums in Kazakhstan holding 23,500 people and currently there are only 5,000 tickets left all of which are in the most expensive fan zones right by the stage.

Great comment other than you failed to mention the name of the rock opera being Starmania. I think the song has some strong emotional musical hooks which draws me in. Correction, Dimash doesn't have a 10 octave level reach, its only 7.5 with two semitones, he sings in 15+ languages, sings in almost every genre of music, he's a multi-instrumentalist and has his Masters in music. He has been professionally trained in vocals since he was 5 years old, he is currently 29. You have just barely touched his vocal capabilities , each song is unique and all will shock you with new vocal abilities that you have probably never heard or know possible. Realistically he has more of a little over 6 octaves since his first octave notes aren't really the part of his "true" range as literally everyone can growl in a first octave. Counting ONLY his chest range and falsetto/head voice/whistle, he would go from like E2/F2 to D8 which is about ~6.5 octaves. Still a large range nonetheless.

He also plays many different instruments. You should listen to the SOS performance he did when he was just 22 yrs old in that Chinese singing competition. Imo it was his best version of this song. I was in tears, the audience was in tears,his father was in the audience. He is so good that he carried me away with his vocal expression and body language when I didn't understand a word of French. He also speaks several different languages. All the other singers in the competition were as blown away as everyone else.

If you like rock you would like Dimash's live performance of 'Show Must Go On' from the Chinese Singer Show in 2017. His English was not as clear as it is today, but he sang it better than Freddie Mercury. Dimash reminds me of the verse,"...some have entertained angels unaware." I like your channel. For a first wow effect, the SOS version of "I am singer" is certainly great, but Dimash's voice has matured massively and become richer once again in the last five years. Moreover, his French pronunciation has improved. I've always been wary of showing the "singer" version to friends who I know speak French for that reason.
@@stevefrost64 And I completely disagree with you about the 2021 version. The music is too bombastic for the content of the song. The 2017 version suits the content of the song much better. The pacing, the orchestration, the tempo are perfect for the lyrics and sentiments of this song. Also that there are NO special effects on his vocals, at least not over the top in the Singer version plus it is 100% live: music AND vocals. He only messed up some of the lyrics, but I don't care. The Singer 2017 version of SOS is the ultimate version.
I'll throw a wrench in the works here and vote for the Slavic Bazaar version! Actually I understand (and agree somewhat) with BOTH Jaye and Kathrin (and TwoCats as well). Jaye's point about the 2017 version being fully live and without special vocal effects is well taken, and Kathrin's comment about Dimash's voice and pronunciation being more mature in the 2021 version can't be argued. I liked the 2021 version much better as it was lip-synched at the EMI Gala in Dubai than I did with all of the psychedelic effects in the digital show version, though, because I thought it was performed better. What it all comes down to, I think, is that there are so many good versions of the song always performed wonderfully by Dimash that there are bound to be different "favorite versions" among the mass of Dears who live virtually everywhere in the world and who are influenced by their own culture and expectations.

A Dimash concert lasts for 2.5 to 3 hours with him only taking a few very short costume change breaks. He sings between 25 to 30 songs and every one is different. He goes from fast paced to slow ballads and back again. His next concert is in Almaty, Kazakhstan on 23rd September with apparently a lot of new material. Sales opened a week ago and In the first 15 minutes of ticket sales, tickets were bought from over 36 countries.
It's being held in one of the biggest stadiums in Kazakhstan holding 23,500 people and currently there are only 5,000 tickets left all of which are in the most expensive fan zones right by the stage.

Correction, Dimash doesn't have a 10 octave level reach, its only 7.5 with two semitones, he sings in 15+ languages, sings in almost every genre of music, he's a multi-instrumentalist and has his Masters in music. He has been professionally trained in vocals since he was 5 years old, he is currently 29. You have just barely touched his vocal capabilities , each song is unique and all will shock you with new vocal abilities that you have probably never heard or know possible. Realistically he has more of a little over 6 octaves since his first octave notes aren't really the part of his "true" range as literally everyone can growl in a first octave. Counting ONLY his chest range and falsetto/head voice/whistle, he would go from like E2/F2 to D8 which is about ~6.5 octaves. Still a large range nonetheless.

He also plays many different instruments. You should listen to the SOS performance he did when he was just 22 yrs old in that Chinese singing competition. Imo it was his best version of this song. I was in tears, the audience was in tears,his father was in the audience. He is so good that he carried me away with his vocal expression and body language when I didn't understand a word of French. He also speaks several different languages. All the other singers in the competition were as blown away as everyone else.

Hi guys! To say Dimash 'is a very talented man' - is the understatement of the century. LOL Have you ever heard anyone sing like that (in the history of recorded music)? If you like rock you would like Dimash's live performance of 'Show Must Go On' from the Chinese Singer Show in 2017. His English was not as clear as it is today, but he sang it better than Freddie Mercury. Dimash reminds me of the verse,"...some have entertained angels unaware." I like your channel. This is not even the best version. The best version, vocally, pacing wise and musically (backing band and vocals) is still the one from Singer 2017 when he was 22. Completely disagree that the 2017 performance was the best. For me it was the 2021 Digital Show performance.

For a first wow effect, the SOS version of "I am singer" is certainly great, but Dimash's voice has matured massively and become richer once again in the last five years. Moreover, his French pronunciation has improved. I've always been wary of showing the "singer" version to friends who I know speak French for that reason.

@@stevefrost64 And I completely disagree with you about the 2021 version. The music is too bombastic for the content of the song. The 2017 version suits the content of the song much better. The pacing, the orchestration, the tempo are perfect for the lyrics and sentiments of this song. Also that there are NO special effects on his vocals, at least not over the top in the Singer version plus it is 100% live: music AND vocals. He only messed up some of the lyrics, but I don't care. The Singer 2017 version of SOS is the ultimate version.
I'll throw a wrench in the works here and vote for the Slavic Bazaar version!
Actually I understand (and agree somewhat) with BOTH Jaye and Kathrin (and TwoCats as well). Jaye's point about the 2017 version being fully live and without special vocal effects is well taken, and Kathrin's comment about Dimash's voice and pronunciation being more mature in the 2021 version can't be argued. I liked the 2021 version much better as it was lip-synched at the EMI Gala in Dubai than I did with all of the psychedelic effects in the digital show version, though, because I thought it was performed better. What it all comes down to, I think, is that there are so many good versions of the song always performed wonderfully by Dimash that there are bound to be different "favorite versions" among the mass of Dears who live virtually everywhere in the world and who are influenced by their own culture and expectations.

It's good to see somebody enjoy his performance without interrupting it 10 times like a lot of people that think that they're a reactionist but they're nothing but a pain in your butt they get so amazed with his vocal range they just have to keep turning it off and turning it on turn it off and turn it on we already know about this artist for the last few years we're trying to get everybody else to listen to him, but all they want to do is talk and try to tell us you know what the rain she's in or he's off the piano board that's not what we want if you want to talk about that wait till the end of the performance but please don't start interrupting this particular artist he is the best in the world and you are the first ones I have seen that did not interrupt it just a couple little squeaks out of your son there but it's really annoying when you interrupt his performances and it's disrespectful and if you got to just talk through it what the hell is you so watching you guys you know but it's nice all we want is to introduce you to this artist because he is the world's best and you're going to see some amazing things I've been watching him for over 3 years and I've been trying to help some of these people that think their reaction is when we're not really wanting you to talk through it we're wanting to introduce you to him and then at the end of his performance say oh my gosh you can't believe what I saw if you can help yourself just watch it with us without interruption so thumbs up to you guys for not interrupting him
Reaction is reaction. Everyone is at home and has the right to do as they please. And they have to stop so they don't get stuck on the film. Then no one will watch the movie. It is really important that they link to Dimash's website. There we can listen to each other without interrupting. And only then do we improve Dimash's viewership. Even if the reactor is not interrupted, there is no profit for Dimash. Dimash's side is from listening without interrupting. To learn something and find out, we watch reactors. And the name itself says that you should expect a reaction, not sit and listen.
