I'm not a photographer but I have subscribed to CC in the past and have been using your tut's for merchandise creation (posters, business cards, CD Covers etc..), the 30 tips filled in a lot of gaps for me, thanks and cheers!
It is hard to think of a favourite tip they are all so good. Really do like all your tips relating to text as it is something I use a lot in Photoshop and thank you so much for passing on your knowledge.
The alt-control-T tip is great, I needed that the other day and didn't know about it. Now I do. Thank you! That will come in mighty handy in the future!
Yes, I remember theese heavy manuals, been struggling with them in the ´19's, and english is not my native landguage, but I read them, however never came as far as you did :-). Back then the digital files were scanned images taken on film. Now we have youtube with brilliant instructors, such as yourself, no longer need for all that paperwaste. To me, I think the tip with the layerscombining and -adjusting was the most valuable. But I absolutely watch every one of your photoshop tutorials, just keep them coming!
I loved the duplicate and remember rotation tip! I need to do stuff like that too often, and I've been manually rotating each individual level. This is a huge time saver (and makes a more accurate final image). Thank you!
Playing around with the ALT (curves or levels adjustment layers) option, at least with the light levels, you could probably use that to figure out where to add to highlights that are already in the image more naturally, and potentially make a mask out of the effect. That's an idea that I am going to experiment with.
I'm filling a notebook with tips and tricks from your videos 💓 Help me out...You wrapped an image around a shape (a can if I remember correctly) in 3 keystrokes at the end of one of your "Live from Lockdown" livestreams. I wasn't taking notes at the time and now I can't find it 😭 How did you do that?
I encountered a problem with the duplication of rotation tip. If the copied rotation is needed to complete a full circle, the layers aren't guaranteed to be placed into the circle evenly. In other words, the layers don't divide the circle evenly. (I hope I'm making sense.) Is there a way to accomplish this?
I tried clicking H for the hand tool, it changed to the hand tool, so far so good, but, when I clicked, nothing. So I tried it again, nothing, so I held the mouse button down, all that did was move things around. What do you have set to make the birds eye thing active?
@@Ruffian_Xion Thanks Gary. I tried that and it worked, a little, but not like in his video. I get the box but it's almost the size of the image, and when I release the H or the the mouse button the image zooms back out.
@@JoeHTX When you press/hold, the box will take up the size of the displayed portion of the image. The more zoomed in you are when you press/hold, the smaller the box will be relative to the full image.
The Ctrl 0 tip. A lifesaver for me! There were many others but I can't remember. I will be watching all 3 videos again! Thanks!
Maybe it shows where I am in Photoshop but each and every tip was informative. Great selection Colin.

my favorite tip was making that circular - sunburst thing. I am soooooo going to use that! Always great tips from you!
Thanks Colin! My favourite tip was finding the centre of the page with guides!
Moving all text layers at the same time to the top... Favorite tip
Excellent! My favorite tip was holding option while adjusting the slider to smaller increments! Boom! simple!
Brilliant tips as per usual. Love your work.
cool tips .I am learning a lot from your videos . Thanks for sharing
Great work .. thanks for the tips 👍🏻🙂
Great tips, Colin, but I needed to watch them a few times to make notes and to get them into my head LOL

I love your tips. You help make it easier to understand. 🤙🏼

Another great set of tips Colin. More, please!

Great tips! Keep them coming, Colin. I loved the bird's eye view tip.
I liked the step and repeat best. Please give us a part 4.
Thank you.
I love the series. The layer filter is new to me. Always wondered what those icons did.
Great stuff, the third was the best of the 3, as it had relatively more info I didnt already know.
You gave always gave nice tip
I liked the tip about using the measure tool to create a straight line, then going to Image > Rotation > Arbitrary for straightening out an image.
Thanks for I love it....thanks man
Thanks again for the great tips
Very informative!
Thanks for the tips, for this episode I love the layer filter. I never knew there's such a filter. 🙂
Totally head over heals for #1 and #3! I assigned your videos to my 2D students and they act "all expert" now. Hah! I enjoy them too. Thanks
Really enjoyed all the videos learnt a lot from every bit and couldn’t put my finger on my favourite bit
Fave tip - getting all the text at the top. Have to watch your videos mucho times to remember all the tips.
I am taking notes and going to go over all of his other videos so that I can have them all together!! Awesome tips!
Excellent, love that last tip!!!
Really good! Learning so much!
New guide layout! Trying to keep up with you. I think in about 20 years I'll be there at 94 yrs old. Thanks again.

POOOF Mind Blown!!! Love them all!!!
I miss user manuals! Great tips!

This issue was chock full of new tips for me especially the step and repeat.
I'd like a reminder tip on changing the % of the luminosity selections.
I'm filling a notebook with tips and tricks from your videos 💓

wicked video
Nice one
If you can provide all the resources then it will be grate.

Yes, you can rotate numerically from the options bar
@@photoshopcafe Well, duh on me. Thanks for all you do!

You have to press and HOLD 'H', then left-click and HOLD, then you'll get the box and can drag it around.
@@Ruffian_Xion Thanks Gary. I tried that and it worked, a little, but not like in his video. I get the box but it's almost the size of the image, and when I release the H or the the mouse button the image zooms back out.

Birdseye view doesn't work for me!
Make sure your GPU is turned on in preferences
And you have to hold the H key down, don't just tap it
I often use the filter to find empty layers so I can delete them
Please go straight to the subject , you loosing lots of time by jumping from here to there ..
It is a celebration of Photoshop's 30th and I don't apologize for adding something novel that isn't in every other Photoshop tutorial.
