  • This residential project in Fazenda Boa Vista was designed to enhance the connection between the interior spaces and the surrounding natural environment. The placement of the house faced significant challenges due to setback restrictions, resulting in a narrow and elongated volume. To create dynamic and interesting proportions, the architects opted for sloped roofs and unconventional angles, allowing for innovative framing of the landscape and spaces.
With an extensive programme, the residence features six bedrooms, a gym, a gourmet area, a home theatre, and a spacious social area, in addition to a wellness area. The pool, connected to the gourmet area, receives natural light through cobogós, specifically the Ipsilon model, designed by Arthur Casas and selected specially for this project.
The interaction between the wellness area and the pool is highlighted by a glass panel that allows for an underwater view of the pool, creating a soft reflection in the sauna and the relaxation area on the lower floor. Additionally, elements such as a skylight above the basement staircase reinforce the project’s scenographic identity. The structure of the residence uses prefabricated wood, a sustainable solution that allows for wide internal spans, overcoming structural challenges during execution.
The façades feature materials such as Moledo stone, Ipsilon cobogós, and charred pine wood, which also serves as a deck over a waterproofed slab. The interior reflects the external materiality, with neutral porcelain floors, rustic stone, and wood on the walls, creating a visual continuity between the exterior and interior. The casement windows in the intimate area offer ventilation and light, while the furniture combines vintage and contemporary pieces, with a special emphasis on works by renowned Brazilian designers.
