It’s crazy to hear “from here to Utopia” before he got into recovery.
Blake Robinson they never do give you a chance while you still have anything like a soul
what do you mean?
@@georgeguiney3454 From here to utopia is a finished song of pats that appears on a ramshackle glory album "living the dream" when he's in full fledged recovery, the words are heshed out here but because he's not abstaining maybe in his head the songs unfinished, thats just speculation. Its just surreal to hear that song that REALLY helped me in recovery on how its profound outcome came from such a shitty place. I always thought he was a lot better off mentally when he started writing it but imagining pat like i do, I dont know why I wouldve thought that.
@@blaebrobinson895 I fucking love that song too, but I was confused as to where it is on this video?

A Punk Rock song won't ever change the world, but this album changed me
If I ever write another book I m using his quote in it.
Aweee, wholesome punking
@@dustinclark3390 you can stop flexing its been 4 months
I live across the lake from Burlington, and I've met people who knew Pat when he was in Vermont. They all say the same thing "He was just a really nice, and very sad person"...
I wish for you to tell more-- if you can.
Jumpin Joe love the icon man I miss that show
@@JumpinJoe It's been a long time, sorry for the late reply. I wish I could say more, but the most I know is that he was always really nice and friendly, but there was always an inescapable sadness about him. There wasn't much anyone has ever had to say about him, I know that he gets really upset if anyone around him is drunk or drinking at all, because he's in recovery; he got really mad at a former friend of mine when they played a show together and she was drinking a 40. Like, he yelled at her, and told her to get the fuck away from him.
@@Kevinkapon Pretty understandable, honestly
@@Kevinkapon I don't blame him. He's said he doesn't think he'll survive another relapse.
I do hope 1 day its easy for him to stay sober.
clicked this video by accident.
no ragrets.
not even one letter?
Lol that movie was so funny
So are you an anarcho-communist yet
Gay Bird ahahahah this fucking guy thanks I needed a laugh
I remember sharing a 40 oz. With a weird dude that just wanted some.my straight edge friend beside me was upset because I was just giving it out.next person up to play was that dude. It was pat ,in some random basement in Lawrencevillle ga. I talked to a counselor wearing a wing nut shirt about dropping out of high school....I'm the boss now .no gods no managers . We fuck shit up every night.best crew ever. And punk rock songs are the appeal...thanks pat.
Pizza place of course...
a punk rock song will never change the world but i can tell you about a couple that changed me... fucking right!
+Abiasaf López too right
dat quote is from a band called 37 cents i love it
@@drinkyourbongwater8145 i from "wingnut dishwashers union- fuckshit up"
I love that you hear the sound guy trying to reign him in; If you've ever recorded before that is every sound engineer.
This and Love Song For the Apocalypse by Johnny hobo are hands down the greatest albums on the planet.
Honestly the Mantits side of that split is also really good
That’s a hill I’m willing to die on.
Live the Dream????
Probably my favorite Pat album. Love this. It makes me hopeful that there are other people in the world who relate to this - we're friends.
alex jackson hello friend
We could all use more of those.
We're all friends here.
I love how so many non-punks listen to Pat's music. I even heard some guys talking about him at a Cannibal Corpse show
Good to know....I thought I was alone
HEY PAT! Thanks for helping me not die. Love from Minneapolis. Thinking of you as the precinct's burned.
Hell yeah, I wish I could've been there. Unfortunately I was too broke to buy gas.
Hey comment section!
A dear friend of mine showed me Pat years ago, and I was missing them a lot. But they probably would've said to pass on the good feelings.
So thanks for being cool, y'all. It's always appreciated.
I'm sure they're partying rn man. Take it easy.
So when I die then let my gravestone read "Rest In P-funk" cause no pulse is no excuse not to dance!
Listening to this after years of not listening to it. I came across this when I was looking for Fuck Shit Up from Blatz.
Yep, I'm back to who I am.
Just need to share this with people who care. First solo trip on shrooms was to this album, changed my entire life. Much appreciation and love for pat.
go to archive.org and search wingnut dishwashers union and you can download the zip of this album
9 years passed like hours
"Seriously guys it's really not that nice"
Either is hunger..hence why i can relate to his struggle..the struggle is real..and thats not no nice paradise.
trash rules everything around me TREAM cus Im hungry gotta gotta eat yall
I got that stuck in my head too man! :D
An ode to wu tang
Kinda weird to listen "Do You Wanna Go to Party Town" after listening to "From Here 'till Utopia." Feels like reading a book's prequel.
He vibrates my soul.
Holy shit dude you showed me this like 5 years ago and now I'm seeing your comment on here. Learned the whole album at some point I gotta play it for you so we can scream it

Pat writes the most relevant songs to my experience as a dishonest man.
Needing this fuel for my fire today. Love you pat. You made me realise when I was younger that other people felt what I felt.
DIY Gangsta had me laughing the whole way through - dunno if it was supposed to have that effect. Been listening to these guys for a few years now, and I somehow missed that one.
If we can't live without dishwashers, how can we live without cops?
I love Patt's music. I can relate and it makes me wanna pick up my guitar and play along, so im gonna do that now lol.
never get tired of these guys im sure my wife is though lol
hahah
The question is: Are you tired of your wife?
I'm in the same boat
All my friends are sick of them except for me lol
Gabriel Harlow SAME
This music is a gem lost in the mass, crazy to see how long ago it's been sense I started listening to this, compared to how much everything has changed between then and now
I love the folk punk community so much y'all are the kindest people I've ever seen
great album. pat the bunny is in my opinion the best living singer song writer
Here is to a week sober
I remember when my friend showed me this album about 4 years ago and ive been hooked. lots of the lyrics are definitely relatable
It’s been 15 years since I saw him perform and fell in love with his soul not him as a person but his artistry I don’t know how he can read my mind like he’sgited with esp and I still miss him I cover his songs constantly Tream Proudhon Manhattan wen I was a train hopping hobo but I’m so proud that he is sober fucking good for you bro stay strong for me bc I wish I cud be so badly
I have drank to many beers to this album.
it's the only music I wanna hear when I'm exhausted and undersexed
(every day after work)
Never too many beers
My Dad is a true member of the Wingnut Dishwashers Union Local# 582 Elgin
is there actually a workers union called that
"and i don't call women bitches!
now that's not very nice
seriously guys, that's just... really not that nice"
Lol! Definitely made my day right there!
You're welcome!
Whenever i feel like im slipping Pat always makes his way onto my feed. Very thankful i got to meet him.
I see a lot of people looking for psychical copies of Pat older music well let me give you a tip because I own a lot of myself but I get it because of my job really I'm a EMT so I work hand in hand with the FD and I also work with the people that have to clean up after fires and stuff like that okay back the topic at hand go. Find out who cleans up after fires in your area they have a shit ton of stuff just laying around most of them are more then happy to let you look through all that junk and you can find some real gems in those places for free 99.
Despite the time this was posted thank you so much! I'm going to use this as much as I can
Once a year I come back to this Gem. Thanks for uploading Fren.
You come back for that yearly visit yet?
@@eggegg6384 I guess not
Some much talent, I love all of his works!
Thank you to the person who uploaded this
this album just takes me home every time to a place of great apathy and undying unrest and soo true he got it. never trust a man who plays a guitar but always, love em ,keep dancing,
I think finding a lot of Pat's old stuff will be pretty hard. You might be able to find some cds on discogs or interpunk if you're lucky
Rare music is often the best
Punk is anything abnormal but still beautiful and soulful
This man literally changed my fucking life, his music is so relatable.... ramshackle is coming to my casa town soon and meeting pat is my number 1 goal
same thing happened to me, I love all of pats work and listen to him just about every single day since I found his music here on the tube.
Pat's really helped me a lot. I respect the hell out of him, maybe my band can open for him someday! Haha if we're lucky.
Damn I love his music.
This is great been listening to Pat's stuff on here for ages just odd songs it's great to hear a full album, thanks so much :) xx
This man is amazing. :)
Loved this album so much in high school. thank you for sharing
ya its folk punk
Magic in thr air. I discovered johnny hobo on a bad comedown 2 nights ago listened to wingnut and ramshackle and now I find out pat has a gig in Portland next week. Love this guy. .
Joshua Olander you see the ramshackle glory / mischief brew show the other night? Was sick as fuck
negative friend due to poor health and extreme social anxiety i dont get out much
Sorry to hear that man, it was excellent. I'm in the same boat social anxiety and relatively poor health. They tried to search my bag at the show and made me pay $3 to let them keep it (the options were paying them $3 to have them search it so I could take it in, or paying $3 to let them hold onto it) wah
10/10 show though dude
righteous- im stoked that it was a good show
You've always helped me when I'm down.
When I feel like I'm going to break, you put a piece back in.
A punk rock song won't ever change the world but you've changed me for the better.
Thank you.
Pat can always raise my mood. I fucking love this guy.
this album is lit
We miss you, Pat
This Album reminds me of the time I spent my last of my money to go to France and ended up walking across Spain to the coast meeting all sorts of people from every walk of life, listening to this when I was alone and just looking back at what I was to that point screaming along to the lyrics and not giving a fuck. Sleeping on the streets, I remember one night I was invited into a hostel by a really nice Italian couple who let me sleep on the couch in the foyer when I was sleeping under the cover of the front door to get out of the wind. Woke up getting kicked in the stomach by the owner swearing at me in Spanish and threw my shit outside and threatened to call the policia on me, couldn't leave fast enough. Ah memories.
Bad to the fucking ass Love the intensity of this album luv u pat
one of my favorite wingnut songs
Beautiful ... Thank you.
This is beautiful
My favorite album 💕
One of the reasons to put an eye patch on once more and YO HO HO HO If I cant buy it, pirate it.
Again, thank you Jacob for mentioning this in your review of that underappreciated interactive art.
love forever
Great ending! Right in my feel somethings
This is really awesome! I love it!
thank you
"No Future (Road Song)" is so fucking intense holy shit
Thanks
2024 26 days sober and pat is as relevant as ever
I dug an old can out of the trash, and I'm using it to drink my fermented piss that I let sit out all night so it's nice and cool on my lips. That's how this song makes me feel. God blesses us dropouts.
It's beautiful
I hate everyone I've ever spoken to
Hell consistency is a rare and exceptional quality
one of my friends favorite bands. I mean, probably ex friend. can't stop listening to this
Am I the only one who cries from listening his songs?
The more time passes, the harder these songs hit
What a fucking great piece of work.
Pat the bunny is and will always be the awesomest!
Picking Sides sounds just like a Bright Eyes song I can't recall.
Michael (Pat’s brother, aka Michael Jordan Touchdown Pass) said that he was listening to a lot of Bright Eyes at around this time, so it is not too far to say Pat may have also been listening to them at the time!
You managed to ruin and save my life in the course of like... three or so years.
Quit your jobs.
Hell yeah!
I bathe so that you don't have to. Wait... That's not how it works.
were all pure genius in training. everyone has the choice :)
I just cannnnnnnnnn't decide!
Hope pats doin good, love from the uk guys
GOOOOOD...
Possibly my favourite of his. So fuckin' raw!
On the opening of picking sides when Pat is talking to someone, is that Jeff Mangum (Neutral Milk Hotel)
Pat the Bunny has not lost a step.
i cant im out!!!
R.I.P. Wingnuts
cant believe i didnt see them live...
I wish I knew they existed when they existed
Ensurdagen well fuck.. they don't exist anymore? GOTDAMMIT.
He fronts Ramshackle Glory now, doesn't perform wingnut songs.
+Ensurdagen actually some songs from wingnut is also on ramshackle glory albums
Well, it's a bit late to point that out...
folk punk perhaps?... not exactly sure myself (im pretty sure that's a genre
Im 5 years late and you probably have forgotten this comment or you have become a full on train hopping anarchist but yes this is folk punk as shit
pat, the guy who made wingnut dishwashers union, is often the first person people suggest when asked for folk punk recs, so you'd be correct!!
