Maybe the locals should not harass and inflame Israelis either. the conflict is a sensitive and controversial topic with bad blood on both sides and the other countries people and governments should mind their own business and not get caught up in the nearly global divide themselves.
The Japanese are very respectful people and despite all this, they still treated these disrespectful and arrogant people with respect. Imagine the opposite happening in Israel! They even verbally and physically harass European and American tourists. I watched a video where they showed their gratitude to America, which is their reason for being, by attacking an American female tourist.
No doubt the Israeli tourists themselves are former IDF members!
