I've been playing all my life but was never gifted to back up a preacher. Lately I've been hired by a church that has a pastor that wants me to start giving him some musical backup. I just want to make sure that what I do is led by the Spirit. If you have any advice for me I'd appreciate it. Love hearing you play!

craig wilson the purpose of my clips is to not to single out the music. But there is a lesson in the marriage between the two. Pastor RA is a phenomenal preacher. The reason y I'm there is because of the Word. The day of flashy church is over for me.

Hey I just want to say thanks for being one of those musicians who are not afraid to go public outside of the music production world to show Katz like myself how to perfect their gift rather it be keyboard or Organ. You've definitely enhanced the perception how to backup a preacher.
JOSHUA KNIGHT PRODUCTIONS From the looks of it, the third and fourth drawbars are on 8 and the rest are in. At times I set the first drawbar on 8 along with the third and fourth drawbar on 8.
Jake its called the "Leslie". The Leslie itself is the speaker through which the organ is producing the sound, and we usually put a mic in front of it, similar to a guitar amp. He hits the switch the start the rotary inside the leslie. When it spins, it gives the organ a vibrato. Turning it off takes it away. It's supposed to add a human lung like nature to the hammond, truly making it a living/breathing instrument
