I spent the afternoon with my Njord today and it was everything I hoped for. After the last three vibe pedals I've owned, I had about given up hope in this type of effect pedal. The usable sounds for me were so easy to dial in on the Njord. Thank you.
@@FjordFuzz amazing! Lol I pretty much search “Fjord Fuzz” on reverb every couple of weeks to see what gems people have posted. I came across your work only about a year ago so I missed a lot of the shorter runs. I have many of the newer pedals but it’s so fun to find some of the old ones when they occasionally pop up!
Got mine! What’s the story With pedal of the month? I was looking for info on it. Is it literally just a new pedal from y’all each month? This may be a real dumb question
Haha, well I've been posting about it on Instagram, but yeah, for every month when I don't have a bigger, more thorough release lined up, I intend to release a cheaper, more experimental product. I have dozens of designs I've never released as there's always pressure to make sure whatever I release is fully developed, all kinks ironed out, all features completely evolved. Back in the day I would release weird and wonderful effects that would maybe not be entirely perfect, but would have really interesting textures and tonalities to them and I want to get back to that a little bit. Every Pedal Of The Month will of course be fully tested, but there will be a more daring approach to the R&D compared to the pedals released as regular lineup. This way I can release less conventional effects without having to fully commit to an idea that may not work well enough that it becomes a mainstay in the lineup. Usually there will be a bunch of people for which any given pedal could be "the one", but that specific device may not be as marketable in the grander scheme of things, so offloading them this way will hopefully boost my own creativity, while giving all of you the opportunity to get something unique and exciting. The February Pedal Of The Month will be really fun! I also love designing pedals and the lowered threshold to release things makes it easier to churn out fun designs!
You do amazing work. I have too many pedals. However, I keep coming back to my Fjord pedals. Thank you for sharing your artistry.
That's wonderful. Subtle and captivating.

Oh wow! Very happy to hear that!
Been looking for one of these for a bit and FINALLY found one. So stoked. Can never have too many Fjord Fuzz pedals lol.
Haha that’s great! There will be a sort of NJORD 2 sooner or later also!

@@FjordFuzz 👏👏👏love it!
Similar to Odin, which is fantastic💙
Will you be updating or rereleasing this pedal in the future? The leslie-vibe sounds amazing.
Definitely!
@@FjordFuzz I came here for this news! : )
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻May I ask which of your fuzzes is the most velcro-y and raspy and low voltage like?
Right now that would be EMBLA!
Would you place this near the front of the signal chain like a Uni-vibe, or more towards the rear like a Phaser or Chorus/Vibrato?
I think you should just do what works best for you honestly, but answering your question in a different way: the preamp is the same as in a Uni-Vibe!
The moment when u turned on the fuzz...🤌🤌
Edit: oh boy, will u do 'pedal of the month' every month this year?
Yes, except for the months I’ve already scheduled bigger releases for!
Sounds fantastic! // Wince
