    Honestly at this point they should trade Tee and retain TB, would make up for the locker room loss and would expand TBs role a bit

    Higgins is NOT a tier 1 player. He's just not. He's a middling tier 2 player. He's one of the finest #2 WRs and one of the bottom #1 WRs. I think the tag exceeds his value. I think it's very telling that the Titans went with Johnson over Higgins in their FA movements, Brian Callahan having been his coach, that they didn't spend whatever resources the Bengals might have been asking for on top of the contract Higgins may be requesting. I think Higgins and Bengals fans have a sense of value that far, far exceeds his actual worth to objective teams.

    • @stephenhill4353

      Absolutely... people need to set emotions aside Higgins is not worth 21+, but a great right tackle or pass rusher is

    • @Montrovantis
      @Montrovantis 5 місяців тому +3

      @@stephenhill4353 I say all of this without even bringing up his injury/reliability history. People need to remember that the Bengals almost had 3 - THREE - 1k yard receivers when Boyd was definitely cast as #3 WR. Higgin's isn't much better than that. He is a player that drops many things he should catch and catches many things he should drop. His often injured and has a reputation around the league for shoving off, and that has come back to bite him when he makes a play. He's a very, very incomplete WR. Very incomplete WRs are not #1 material. He's far too inconsistent on top of everything else mentioned.

    This Wr class is stacked wich hurts his trade value. I think they should hold firm on what they want. If the Wr class doesn't do for some teams what they want maybe his value is up next yr. I would like him signed but I think they are prolly handling it the way they should.

      I'm feeling like Hubbard could be playing inside. I'm a Mixon fan I get the Moss signing. I'm a little nervous about it Chase Brown,Moss & Rookie Rb will make me feel better. Benson is my dream plenty of other rookies to like. JK Dobbins is really intriguing also I doubt they look at JK but I would be apposed to it. I want 1 more Rb to be excited about & not have to be to worried about health & have true committee fighting for playing time. We need a DT still think it might be Reader & transition Hubbard possibly I feel better with a rookie RT then a rookie DT. The trenches have me a little nervous. I would love to be open to take BPA in the 2nd wich could be Wr or Rb like Benson I think he's different & should be gone in the 3rd. Very few DT's I feel real good about where I see them drafted it feels like you could swing & miss on a DT in the 2nd especially 3rd. BPA is almost undoubtedly OT at 18.

    Larrell Murchison DT Rams.... Benito Jones DT Lions..... couple 26 year old players who's experience now could be on the rise. Murchison had a nice 9'10" broad jump that is often used for how explosive a player can be at the snap of the ball fits the 3 tech position. Benito Jones is that 6'1" 335 lb gap eater or used to keep O-Line off the LB's.
    Could also go the older route with a player like Jordan Phillips of the Bills...... Taven Bryan of the Colts also has some burst on the D-Line who is a former 1st rounder that didn't meet 1st round expectations.
    DAX HILL - Dax is a very good player but he's simply not a vocal player so that role doesn't work for him. Dax is a investment and is certainly worth playing behind Mike Hilton and we all know Hilton is in the last year of his contract so if Dax learns the position, which is his natural position, that next year it would be a smooth transition going from Hilton to Hill.

    A dynasty could easily be created in this bag era. All you have to do is be satisfied with 10 million dollars a year and you could build the greatest team of all time. Am I the crazy one for thinking 10 million a year is plenty and still very investable? And if you're the greatest team of all time you're getting side deals all day.

    Joe Mixon is the ONLY any down running back in the NFL. Fourth and goal he's money. Third and short he's money. Third and long he's picking up blitzes. He's taking outlet swing passes for 8 or 9 yards on a regular basis. Talk about covering up OLine mistakes. Ability to make people miss is tops in the league. He makes guys miss in the back field then goes for 4 or 5. The coldest jump shake in the league. We're about to find out how Joe Mixon was the best player on the offense outside of Joe Burrow.

    • @n8ball02
      @n8ball02 5 місяців тому

      Dude Mixon has pass pro issues he has always had. Easily the most replaceable player on the O.

    • @TheTruth_StraightNoChase
      @TheTruth_StraightNoChase 5 місяців тому

      @n8ball02 I'm tellin ya. Mixon is the most complete back in the league. Every time we decide to go power run for an entire game he destroys all day. Look it up. Every time Mixon has over 20 carries we blow the other team out. Best player on the team outside of Burrow.

    • @n8ball02
      @n8ball02 5 місяців тому

      @@TheTruth_StraightNoChase Mixon has lost his explosion. Take away the week he played vs the Browns 3rd stringers and his runs of 15+ yardage are like 2.
      Mixon has never been a complete back due to pass pro issues he has always had, though he did improve this past year. Thays why Perine was always in on 3rd down and in critical moments in the SB. You are also over estimating the 3rd and 4th and short or goal to go carries that Mixon converts. In several games this past season an offensive slog starts when Mixon was stonewalled on 3rd and short.
      The reason Mixon, and this is true for most RB (look it up), has a great win-loss record when they get 20 carries is because most back cross that threshold in games where they are winning and killing clock. For Joe specifically the games he gets 20 carries are the games where the run game is effective or Explosive. The Bengals want their run game to be efficient, meaning picking up yards that set up favorable down and distance. The games where the other team is allowing 5+ yards per carry is when Joe Mixon is getting 20+ touches. Using this to determine how well a RB performs is fools gold because again it holds true for most RBs in the league.
      It also doesn't matter if they are complete backs. Teams with the best run games in the league mostly have multiple backs.
      NFL RBs, regardless of age, start losing effectiveness at 1500 NFL touches. Mixon is Over 1800

    • @TheTruth_StraightNoChase
      @TheTruth_StraightNoChase 5 місяців тому

      @n8ball02 we have no commitment to the run game. I don't believe Isaiah Pacheko is better than Joe Mixon but the Cheifs had no choice but to focus on the run game bcuz of their receiving core. Has he ever had a season where he was under 1,000 total yards?

I just meant the specific lack if interior pass pressure the team had gotten the previous year along w the secondary losing their communicators were two major factors in the decline in LB play. W more experienced DBs & Bengals addressing the 3-tech position, that should allow them to play freely like they had before & we should see a huge improvement

    I like tee and want him to remain a bengal but I don't think he's not chase or jj or tyreek hill, few are. That's why they will get paid around that 30 mil per. Tees range is similar to michael PittmanJr or the eagles receiver (forgot his name) , around that 22 to 25 mil per. I don't have alot of sympathy for tee, bengals tag him 2 years in a row he will be paid around 46 mil guaranteed. That's a fair guarantee. If I was the Bengals I wouldn't offer no more than a 2 year tag guarantees. Why would they? They have the leverage and 46 mil will make any human a very rich man In 2 years. 4 years 90 mil, 46 guaranteed. That's a good contract. That's what I would offer if I put on my gm hat. I think the Bengals offer is probably not too far away from that honestly. I've heard from good sources that there offering him 21 to 22 mil per with around 40 mil guaranteed if it's true. Go play with a bad qb and a bad team and worry about that extra 10 mil or whatever. Is it worth it. Idk. I'm not in that situation but I can tell u this much for myself if I love my job and my situation I'm not leaving it for say an extra 10 thousand a year and hate that job. Not doing it.
