- In July, the original surviving members of The Quarrymen band headed into Abbey Road's Studio Three to record footage for their upcoming documentary ‘PRE FAB’.
Between filming we caught up with the iconic group who shared personal memories of growing up with John Lennon, the fateful day when Lennon met McCartney and in turn how the skiffle group evolved into The Beatles.
The stars were aligned for me when at the March 2007 Beatlefest in NJ, I was asked to join them as a guest bass player on the big stage. That lead to reuniting 5 months later at their Fest appearance in Chicago, & a 2 week U.S. tour the following year. To this day, those thrilling adventures remain at the top of my musical journey. I’m proud knowing they’re my friends & grateful for the blessings I’ve received. Long live The Quarrymen.Peace & Love ❤️🙏🏼
