She's great. So natural.
Chloe's heart shines through her clarinet, her voice and her eyes. Love is her air -- and her version of "No Surprises" is stunning.
Chloe is simply the best as a jazz clarinet musician.

I've been playing clarinet for more years than Chloe has been alive. But every fifth phrase or so the only thing I can think to say is "that's impossible!"

so cute. she seems so embarassed and overexcited out of embarassment when she talks, and then she takes the clarinet and you see her relax and follow the music and just let herself flow with it and enjoy it and everything comes out so naturally

Thanks for fixing the sound. I'm glad you're still doing the Scottcasts. They"re one of the best features you've ever done for the fans. Hard to believe it's been about 2 years since you started them. These past few weeks, Jazz Me Outside Pt.1 has been living in my CD deck in my truck. My Hero is currently my favorite off it. I was thrilled to get to know Chloe better. The girl is a ... BEAST when she does call & response with her clarinet.

9:40 - Scott, if you haven't already seen, Gunhild's brother Max is an amazing Clarinet and Saxophone player as well. It's one of the reasons I've said in the past you need to do a PMJ video with Gunhild and the rest of her family, because they are all amazing musicians.

Люди либо сразу рождаются с джазовой головой (в какой бы то ни было стране), либо не рождаются: я вот, например, родился в 50-ых годах прошлого века с джазом в голове, но в России, где я родился, моему джазу не было тогда выхода из моей головы, но я его, этот выход, искал там ли, сям, и худо-бедно, но нашёл то в литературе, которую пишу, то в музыке, которую играю (пытался играть)!........
Она играет в ньюорлеанской девочковой группе The Shake ‘Em Up Jazz Band, где она смотрится вполне органично (хотя и там она звезда №1!...........

Она была знаменитым вундеркиндом много лет назад, поразившим знатоков джаза своим владением кларнета и джазовой импровизации, а теперь просто собирает (вполне заслуженные) дивиденды с тех навыков, что приобрела в те давние годы!.........
Всё-таки самые мощные и неискоренимые основы джаза были заложены в 20-30-40-ые годы прошлого века, после которых он начал свою, хоть местами и небезынтересную, но - декадентскую - деградацию!.....
