Well Done! I really liked your pace during the video. Fairly fast and you don't drift off on tangents. Looking forward to more Home Assistant related videos.
Good Video, precise to the point and throrough at the same time. I will be building this project for christmas lights in my deck. Keep the videos coming, best of luck.
Thanks for the video. I actually wanted to try this out since I have Yeelight LED strip which shows the light dot marks inside the aluminium channels. I'm also seeing the similar led light dots in your setup as well. It's there a way to overcome this? If we go with 60leds per metre, do you think, this led dots will be hidden? Pls advise of you have any info on this.
I can't give a definite answer to this as I haven't used Yeelight LED LED strips can be COB type or could be individual LEDS. Also, it depends what type of LEDs it has. The LEDs need to be individually addressable for WLED integration. Like e.g WS2812B.
Good Video but .. what are the cables to use (female female?) for connection and what to use for power supply. can you give the aliexpress links for these 2 elements thank you
Looks like he used female connections to the board and soldered to the LED strip w/ insulator. Power comes from the D1/ESP board. He explains how to connect everything in the beginning of video. Thanks for the video @SmartHomeCircle by the way. @SmartHomeCircle did you write the software yourself in yaml? I'm just learning home assistant and wanna set up my first automation with something like this to light up my closet but need brighter WLED.
Followed this guide, got to home assistant on my esp30 board and am getting a firmware unknown error when I try to change settings via home assistant but still works via web ui/ip

How many meters of neopixel strip can I control?
I used it with 60 leds and it works fine.
I think above that its better to give a dedicated power supply.

I am sorry. I didn't understand your question.

Which setting is this?
Has the device already integrated with home assistant?
Do we have pre installed wled controllers in India. I don't know how to solder
As far as I know, there are none in India..
