When you teach your 6 mo old children water safety, it's to turn over on their back and float. It's what I taught my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. It's a class through the YMCA and is great. You must teach your children to survive since they can be out of your sight 10 seconds and fall into the pool. It's a wonderful program. I've seen too many children who have drowned as a healthcare professional and vowed not to have my family be a statistic. My daughter started on a USAA swim team at 5 yrs old until she was 17 yrs. 3:31 - Her hair is beautiful before and after. 😄
The first one was so smart. She wasn't even crying so why is everyone butt hurt
Ya, that's the mammalian dive reflex at work, and mom was within reach. My parents did the same thing with me at that age, maybe younger. I loved being in water growing up and never came close to drowning. Too bad when I got older I had a bad experience with unseen wildlife in a not so clean lake and developed thalassophobia. Now you can't even get me on a boat unless visibility is 100%. Did you know Bull Sharks have been spotted upriver in the Mississippi as far north as Illinois? I still love pools though!
Damn bro pulled out the statistics, now I’m gonna be scared of Illinois Sharks!

Babies instinctively will roll over and Float upwards that's why you should train them as infants this will save multiple children's lives from drowning this woman has awesome common sense! good job for doing what you've done! You have to know what you're doing to train.
It is so sad a child drowned. Children should not die so young. So I believe that it is important for babies to learn to swim
Great job mom!! So many children's lives could be saved!
Mom was watching the whole time, mom has previous trauma with another child and water so heck yes shes training baby to be a swimmer. Baby will probably bring her mama some medals
Woman can’t be swimmer or anything professional

You can tell the baby was prepared before she even hit the water 👍😊
The owners of pitbulls that have eaten babies always say that their dog was the nicest dog.
Remember when parents did this before social media ever existed and now that it does exist you get serious backlash from even thinking about generally anything
People can give their opinions without being jerks about it. After all, if you post on social media, you can expect opinions. In my opinion, the only one I had a problem with was the Christmas presents. But that was her choice. I wish people understood that children want their parents' presence way more than presents from their parents. I think it's detrimental for kids to have too much but then again, that's my opinion. As long as the hair dye wasn't toxic ..🤷♀️
Or don’t give an opinion nobody asked for, people should mind their business when it comes to how other people raise their children.
@Screech Ya, it's social media. If you don't want an opinion, don't post something you that you know is going to be controversial 😒
I think as long as adult watching over them, people need to respect the way they raise their own children.
I had a pitbull for 17 years and he was the biggest baby when it came to other people and children if you were to ever even put your head up at a child the dog would come after you
The baby has great human instinct
It felt like the baby was struggling tbh
All kids struggle when they swim.
What you think is not very important is it? Until someone writes you a check for your thoughts, know that, nobody cares. And it’s not valuable.
Yeah do you know what would happen if the baby was trained at all? The baby wouldn't be struggling because it would be dead already

Those parents who lose their babies in swimming pool accidents wished they had taught their babies these lessons.
That aqua hair actually looks really good on that little girl. If it were my kid, it would be something we did for a special occasion, not as a long term thing. But I certainly wouldn't say no.
She’s a strong mom!
WAIT A DAM MINUTE 300 GIFT FOR $2,000? CLEARLY THIS MOM IS DOING SOMETHING RIGHT BECAUSE HOW TF? IMMA NEED HER TO SHARE HER SHOPPING SECRETS! LOL
Right! I expected those gifts to cost at least 10 thousand..
I don't care how amazing it is that babies do that, the baby doesn't like it. You can tell how stressed out that baby was.
Drowning would be more stressful
So important to teach your child to swim as young as possible. ❤
Yes. It saved me as a youngster. It surprised me as a kid when my classmates didn’t know how to swim starting in kindergarten. I’d been in and out of the pool since I was less than a year old.
But then again, both my parents were swimmers most of their lives.
80 gifts for the daughters and 30 for the sons, she clearly has favorite
Baby: knows how to survive in the water
The internet: no that’s wrong.it’s the parents doing the job wrong
Started my daughter swimming at 6 months. She was so good, by 13, she was at high level, but not big or strong enough physically yet to achieve lifeguard level.
People really got offended over a child coloring her hair? People need to grow up and leave people alone
Well done to the mum who taught her baby to swim .
2:50 if that is a agressive dog than i just cant anymore :D
So a mom teaches her baby how to swim and people got mad? People would rather see a child drown rather than see a child learn how to swim…
People's quick tempered ignorance doesn't surprise me at all anymore. There's always been those quick to judge idiots in this world, social media has just made it easier to be found and heard or "typed" to be exact.
It's not like she just let her baby fall in the pool. She was being trained by a professional! Brilliant !!
She loved it and it helped her severe asthma.
A smart mother.Swimming lessons even at the earliest age may save their life.
1:38 BRO HEAD FIRST?
Aww look at the smiles on the pitbulls
What a brave baby
Probably those negative comments came from teenagers who think they know everything.
The only parent I don’t agree with is the one who bought her kids loads of gifts!
Who asked you tho? No one. Her household, her money, HER KIDS and it’s HER LIFE, stop worrying about what other people do for their kids unless it’s hurting them, other than that don’t give a useless meaningless opinion nobody asked for! Shut up and worry about how YOU wanna raise YOUR OWN CHILDREN and keep your nose outta other parent’s business!
Same. Silly waste.
