American folk art…it has high prices because…it is OUR art…and OUR history. We’re only 248 years old. Europe and All those other countries like China, Japan and Russia cultures etc., etc., etc., are hundreds if not thousands of years old and so is their art. But it’s not ours.

Having watched all available Antiques Roadshows, I watch these on occasion. I admit I cringe throughout the video though, due to the horrendous pronunciations
