I always loved the 1965 Pontiac. My mother’s friend bought a new 1964 Bonneville in the summer of 1964. I thought that it looked great, until the 1965’s were introduced!
Very cool car my dad Nick bought a brand new 1981 Pontiac lemans Coupe with a 305 V8, it was pretty cool car fast too, unfortunately in '86 my mom vassa got into an accident with a cab and the car was totaled.
The lines and slow curves of the body and chrome just got it balanced out, the dash board layout, and the torque. Especially if you ordered the top engine w/tri-power. The for sharing a nice automobile.
These are HUGE cars. I think the come in at 4000 lbs. NOt including passengers. Monster's pulled by V8 power! Note: these cars DO NOT fit into the newer home garage to long.
Nice example. I still think they hit a home run with the 65 and each year it went down from there. And to me, the 4 door HT roofline looks better than the 2 door. I have a Canadian 65 2 door sedan and a 67 4 door HT. Cheers!
My mom had a 1966 Buick Electra in the same color combo. I can see similar lines in this car to hers. Esprcially in the profile. Never noticed that before.
My family owned a '65 like the car in the video that replaced a '62 Catalina, one which I learned to drive in. There was a big difference in the way the two cars handled, and in the way the transmission shifted. The '65 had variable ratio power steering and a Hydramatic, but it seemed to be more refined.

Pontiac won the Motor Trend car of the year award that year for the best designed car.

Boy did Pontiac have it dialed in in the 60s or what?? Beautiful car.
Pontiac was on top of its game in the 60s.
I grew up in the motor city and next to my budding female classmates my passion was ponchos. From the GTO to the OHC six Pontiac gave me a woody.
Dad had a Blue Charcoal 1965 Parisienne with a 327 - beautiful car, but a bit thirsty!
very more beautiful than new cars ❤

Beautiful Vehicle 😊
This car has "Comfortron" extremely rare in a 1965 Pontiac.
Wanted one since I was twelve. Perfect design.
beautiful my dad had a 66 strato chief
Gorgeous
Just a gorgeous mid 60s Bonny, with factory a/c and power windows...pretty impressive for its time indeed.....
