I am a millennial and torn jeans are something I have seen people wearing in my surroundings and even my cousins trying them but I have never worn till date not because of any stupid beliefs or cultural inhibitions but because I just don't understand the fashion behind it or may be it just doesn't appeal to me🥴 Also Salony thanks for pointing out that women are expected to stay covered even under such terrible weather conditions!!

Salonay, I agree with your grandma. What she is trying to say is people can wear anything which is modest. I don't think there is anything wrong with wearing a saree or salwar on a beach as there isn't any dress code anywhere except for nude beaches in Europe.

I don't feel comfortable in saree bcz of my body type... Us time to western ka aaisa mera craze tha ki meri engagement ke din mere pas ek hi casual ethnic wear tha... Abhi alamari me salwar suits zyada hai and honestly meri marzi se... Sabse zyada comfortable vo hi hai... Cotton fabric thoda loose loose... ❤️
