RULES FOR ENTRY IN THE RAFFLE. 1) Watch each video in the series and comment "TICKET" (one entry per person per video) 2) Share the video on FACEBOOK, tag "Survival Hardware" on Facebook and recieve another ticket for the raffle (one entry per page per video) Of course I would love it if you LIKE the videos, SUBSCRIBE to the channel and click the NOTIFIATIONS BELL, but I wont make that a rule, I would just appreciate it very much. THATS IT! I will give the knife away after the series has run its course, I will pull one ticket on the Sunday 1830 live show following the last video. Must be 18 years old to win and Identification will be required before I can ship the knife to you.
This is one of the better vids I've seen explaining rise/fall indicators / Ruple gages. I need to modify mine with one of those little swing arms. I think that'd be the ticket! ;)
The swing arm was my personal contribution to the design. I just thought that it gave better contact with the back spring than just the probe on the indicator.
This is a great video and one of the best explanations about how to move the blade when removing material. The order of operations you follow is very helpful too.
Great workaround! I actually used a g10 scale for my 1st gauge. I drilled the pivot and center spring hole. Insert the pins and scribed the exterior of the scale pattern. This let me know visually how it all fit together.
Thank you. My platform has changed throughout the years but the underlying principal has always been self sufficiency. I hope you enjoy the videos, welcome here.

Awesome. That's a good trick also.

Thanks man that was very cool I would love to make my own knife some day
All you can do is start where you at with what you have. Everything I know and have for knifemaking is the result of deciding to make the first one.
Ticket!!!
Very good information. Joined you from Good Simple Living And Homesteading's channel

That orange knife is killer! What brand is your watch if you don't mind me asking.
The watch is a wenger swiss military in bronze and the watch band I made in a previous howto video here on this channel.
#tipclearance #iwantaorangeone #fillthestore ✌️
