Hey Evan, How do you look at kite size and max jumps? As a normal guy I find control at high board speed to be the limiting factor for high jumps. You need the speed for the take off, but I get most overpowered at high speed, so at one point smaller kites jump bigger because I can get a better take off. I really like that you push it to the limit, so my main question: What would be that wind and gear sweet spot for a WR? And can they make you a 7m?
Tbh, I dont know if its possible to have one setup that works the best. Because the conditions are never the same so your gear can also not be the same. Did this answer your question? Btw, I would advice always choosing control over power to reach maximum height so choosing a smaller kite in strong conditions is definitely the right move

Surfr misses 20% or more of all my jumps in comparison with Woo. Especially with foil kites in combination with heliloops. Connect your watch with Woo and get rid of Surfr. Woo also has an issue with heliloops, but atleast registers sometimes a jump, when Surfr skips them all.
@sanderwentink , you must have a very unique Woo then, must have been odd seeing Surfr capturing a 31m jump with multiple heliloops then, right? When Woosting the Woo easily adds 20% to the actual height, it's nowhere near reflecting reality, everyone using both Surfr and Woo knows this by now...
@@sanderwentink, lol I've just checked your sessions. The 16,9m Woo jump was recorded at 1h5m after session start, the Surfr jump of 19,5m was recorded at 1h59m after session start, who are you trying to convince here bud? 😂 It's not even the same jump.

Hi Evan very nice video as always, how do you feel about the fusion bar and how you will compare it to the force?
I love it! I like the simplicity of the fusion bar, but the force will work better in a variety of conditions
I am fairly sure that the 8m, if you can launch in 20-30 knots and then match that with the wind picking up to 50 knots, that will get the 40m jump.
yeah, it is hard to control the situation with 8m kite after 40-45 knots...
If you know a spot I will go first : )

8m ERA is mijn favorite maat, en de range is ook top! Ik vaarde hem tot 60 knopen in Frankrijk

Therefore Woo overestimates every single jump. If you ride for ego go with woo, if you want actual measurements go with surfr
