You're fine, it's normal. Fortnite on Performance mode is more CPU intensive rather than GPU, so in reality your GPU 90% of the times never really matters (unless you have a 6 year old GPU lol). You could have a 4070 and it'd perform almost identically to a 4090. This changes when you change your graphics up however.
Guys if you want to make a pc just for fortnite , you should cheap out on the gpu ( used gtx 1080 or an rtx 3060/4060 ) and go all out for the proccesor
Thats totally not true, if you pair 7800x3d or 7600x with 3060 its gonna give you way worse performance than for example paired with 4060ti so dont chip out on gpu, it cannot bottleneck cpu to much cause its gonna work bad
Does no one understand he is running capped fps, and is recording which literally takes away a decent amount of fps, and also its fortnite, so fps is always different for different people. yo can you make a video for 4070 ti super with ryzen 7 7800x3d with like all the optimizations you did cuz im thinking of getting a pc with those specs
Brother, performance mode is OPTIMIZED for LOW END PCS. Which if in case you didn't know... most of these "low end" pcs don't have GPUs! So why make the game GPU intensive when you only have a CPU (with integrated graphics of course)?!?!? Unless you're playing on DX12 or have unbalanced hardware, your GPU is mostly useless in competitive Fortnite.
@@srdjanpetrovic6254Not in all cases you should try each Fortnite mode since the performance mode is bad for me but the direct 11 is much better for me so I recommend that you try it and see which one gives you the most fps
Lower GPU and CPU means lower fps, also it depends on what resolution you're playing, if you play at 1080p with those specs, you might get like 180fps max if you use performance mode (I'm just making a guess, it could be higher or lower)

it's cause you use performance mode which limits the gpu and cpu usage since it's made for low end pcs.
