So sad to hear of Ron’s passing. I feel as blessed to have seen Ron play many nights and his music was both a beautiful release and soundtrack to my hectic high pressure life at the time in the wild 90s . Ron’s playing always hit me right where it counts and his band was astounding… I’ll miss you Ron, Thanks for the Music!
Nice Interview with Ron . I sat with Ron at Dave Monette’s place in Portland for a Brass Workshop. He was A very kind and had a quiet personality… we had a few good but short conversations, as at that time the pilots in Portland were training for the Gulf War, and the workshop would cease until the pilots were finished their training for the day.
