I agree we can apply stop loss but but still it is based on predictions. And then you are totally dependent on trading and have to full time work. Also here you can face mental health issues.
I literally felt like crying the way you explained the seriousness and dangerous consequences of options and future trading.
Because there many innocent people like me who want to become financially successful and get out poverty but can't do anything and they get trapped into such things and instead of coming out of debt they get into debt.

I agree on most of the things Pranjal, except we can forget after buying good stocks. In my honest opinion we should always have stoploss for even investing and use pyramiding instead of averaging out losing long term stocks. Just my opinion. People can have different thoughts on this.
First of all a very big thanx. I m an investor in stock market since last one year. People say it's risky and many have gone bankrupt. But I have been in profit from the beginning. Today I came to know what actually makes people bankrupt. it's future and options. I did not have much knowledge about that. But today you made me aware of this. Thank you again. I have been in right direction since beginning. Investing is much easier than trading in future and options. One should definitely invest in fundamentally strong companies.

Another reason why F&O is risky is that it has expiry dates, whereas holding even in loss is still okay as you can keep it without deadlines

Hey Pranjal, can we short sell PE and CE options too? I couldn't understand why either of them required huge margin if you want to sell first to short them later while they are nominal if you are just buying. Also, what happens to CEs and PEs if no action is taken on them on the expiry date, can they be held for longer term or the money spent upfront expires? Waiting for your response. Thank yoy

1. At around 80% loss... Ur all positions get liquidated automatically
2. There is also a stop loss like thing for limiting ur loss.
So how they are risky?

Sir but in case of loss in futures and options, broker automatically square off our position when we totally loose our capital.
Yes, I also agree with this comment. Position gets squared off automatically by Broker, it cannot be more than your total capital. Can anyone please futher comment on this to make it clear?
