Yes Alain Clark is a Dutch singer and his father was a musician in his younger years, Alain wrote this song himself, he writes all his songs himself, it is more the life course of father and son.
Yeah Alain Clark is indeed Dutch (born and raised). His father, a soul-singer, is from Aruba and his mother is Dutch 🙂

Alain Clark indeed is Dutch, as mentioned before. He was born and currently lives in my hometown of Haarlem. But he grew up in the nearby coastal village of Zandvoort, which you might know as the location of the Dutch Grand Prix in F1.
