My heart sank, I have never seen a young man who works so hard and his close calls are just showing his growing maturity. Son you are gonna give you dad a heart attack, my son is only 12 and he rides dirt bikes and snow machines and things like this happen. But for a father it's like watching the thing you love more then life its self in constant danger. Thankfully he has a team of dedicated talented and experienced guys who love him and will get him to where he deserve to be. Every night it can be the greatest night of your life or you a million diffrent results. PFI/BOOSTED BOYS / GOOFY BUILT fan for life.🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Goofy reminds me of a mad scientist with his car. Its amazing how you can see everyone's personality in the car they build. I know my opinion and input has no real use to these guys, but in all my years of racing Hondas and DSM's both FWD and AWD. I found that slipping the start was the best bet. I never ran into issues until I started just brutally side stepping, and even on good passes there honestly wasn't a big enough difference in times (( if at all)) to warrant side stepping. I stopped doing it all together and stopped tearing up my equipment. It takes some serious practice and every car is different, but a good manuel slip from the hit helped keep the RPMs up and greatly improved my mid track and overall ET. Small displacement engines lack torque, they like to stay wound up. Sorry to ramble. ((Edit)) I posted this before I saw that Goof wrecked. Sorry that happened bud.
Everybody commenting about the crx being a death trap when the issue was caused by driver error. Goofy is still young and learning. Telling him to give up on his car and passion or leaving negative comments isn’t helping anyone. He’s passionate about his car and this sport. Mistakes happen. And so do accidents. As long as he’s still safe he should keep on dialing it in
Exactly, keep repairing, racing and learning that only seat time and breaking/wrecking gives all the experience nobody can teach……plus he still has the driver side he hasnt damaged yet, he is keeping his side off the wall and thats always a plus.
Exactly, he pulled the staging brake at 140mph. These are the same brake handles put into drift cars to make them slide. This had nothing to do with the car, it was driver error. Anyone with 2 eyes and a brain can watch the in car view and see him grab the staging brake handle and the rear tires lock up and the car starts sliding. The car literally did exactly what he asked it to do. People just wanna talk out of there stink stars. Goofy needs more practice at lower speeds. 11:50 index at the fastest. I agree though, driver error 100%
@@budddove6480 he pulled the “stage brake” after the car had spun and was backing into the wall to lock all 4 to slow the impact it wasnt to make the car spin
I slowed it (video) down a lot. His car was going to the right with steering input to the left before the E-brake was engaged enough to be making a big difference. Look at how far he pulled it later compared to at first. Guys have spent a lot of time in Civics, CR-X's, Del Sols and others using the E-brake to slow down without much issue.
@@RobertJeffersonBased nah, looked self induced to me. ANY kind of rash movement at that speed is going to cause what happened. pulling at e brake at over 100mph is stupid
Goof is gonna age you real quick, Brent! He's learning important lessons and thankfully is safe. The kid is crazy talented and has built a monster...but that's always a crazy catch 22. The bigger the monster you build, the bigger the fight to tame it!
I love these long videos. I love seeing every bit of the action. Everyone working together, helping each other, working at a team, and just ripping up the track. Absolute LEGEND you are Brent. Glad Goofy Shane is alright. I'm in love with his build.
Goofy has been having a hell of a time in his short drag racing career...i feel like he needs to slow the car down to the 12"s and get some seat time. Slow him down Brent...he aint ready

Yeah he went from being a kid that hadn't ever really driven anything fast, to driving one of the fastest (capable) CRXs out there in a VERY short amount of time. Baby steps first....
Awesome work as always guys a that was a he'll of a pass for Steven and goofy that's my boy he just sends it like I would live and learn keep it up guys
All love Shane you got this. Gotta hit speed bumps to do great things. Definitely gotta learn to start throwing the chute , if it starts to lift or get loose toss the chute and it will straighten you out 99% of the time.

Glad Shanes damage was a minimum at that speed, he still has one whole side he hasnt hit yet. Back a truck into it and get that out the way lol. Sounds like its time for Jamie to get some safety wire and tools for those flywheel, balancer and cam gear bolts
Gordo,... love ya man... look up 'iso settings' on that camera... it will solve the bright sky silhouette condition... also.. check audio menu for limiter settings... its why loud cars make the audio after so quiet.
Goofys mustache going up on one side down on the other cracked me the fuck up😂 that along with Jamie's soul patch could compete with cleeturs super stache
Honestly I've never been a real fan of Hondas because I saw them everywhere and I mean everywhere. That's my love and ambition one day.
Love your content and you guys are an amazing family but that crx looks like the biggest thrown together deathtrap ever. I know you guys say it's a solid car but it looks horrible and really needs a total revamp and Shane needs a lot more seat time with that thing turned down a bit.
It looks like Goofy pulled the E brake and then started to fish tale? I don't know if he pulled it hard enough but if the brake did engage that could've been the cause especially at 100mph.

Goofy is getting the lessons of a lifetime, that’s for sure… Send it and bend it is the name of the game… Less bend it is always better
With a car that has that much front weight bias, getting on the brakes as hard as he did going that fast is a recipe for disaster
