- The Faction History series is back with a new video! This time, we shall delve into the history of the noble High Elves, and get a glimpse of the calamities they have overcome.
The Elves are a proud people. For many millennia, the Elves bore Lumaya’s light to the darkest corners of Teleria and defended it against the predations of Siroth. Yet there was a time when Aravia itself had nearly turned to the worship of the Dark Lord, and preventing that catastrophe cost them a bloody civil war that tore the Elven race apart.

More lore videos like this please. Also suggestion to add champion character profiles into the game so we can know their backstory. So much lore is posted on social media, but it should also be accessible in game.
It would be great if we have something like this for all the factions and even some more stories.
I love that here the Dark Elves are tools of the forces of evil, but in the faction description they just charge excessive tolls!

Putting in Lydia for what was clearly the split leading to Dark Elves is a nice touch.

Давно жду лор мира Тилерии, но не в таком формате, а внутри игры, например во вкладке коллекция, где можно будет узнать не только о лоре фракции, но и о истории отдельных личностей, например о Арбитре, Венценосной и Синеше, о паре Сифи и Потом и т.д.

This is amazing. The High Elves are my favourite faction and to see this was really something, even more so Yannica was my first legendary champion, and to see her leading this is just mind blowing. Keep up the good work raid. Love to see it.

I'm SOOO glad Plarium has brought back the Faction History.
That's beautiful, now the only thing that's left to do is a CGI tv series or an anime as you could easily have seasons of raid exploring the lore of the game!

When it comes to legends and myths, the elves are always my favorite. This is a well made story about the elven split. Another interesting thing about these stories is that Kael is a just Dark Elf born on the other side.

Well it might have took some time but at least they are finally filling out the Lore for the game. Love the narrator, his voice was full of the pride and arrogance one would expect. A bit tropy but still fun. Hopefully we can hear rhe other side of the Elven civil war soon.

I've played for 3 years, or at least since global release and this was the most I've learned about any of the lore...its really sad because I would love to learn more, wish they would do something weekly or monthly to give an insight into the different factions and realms

I'm a nerd for lore. Like I can tell you all about the gods of DnD and I don't even play. THESE ARE AWESOME!! bro'... if you love lore, then try ESO, or SL, and dive into VTM, the World of Darkness lore, Vampires vs Lycans, or working with Lycans against other supernatural... that is a lot of lore to explore, research, learn, and master eventually, and even pass on to newer generations of players... (if you don't really know the acronyms, research a bit and you'll find it fascinating, that's how I started way back in 2002...)
@@gabeghiby6935 I actually know a lot of elder scrolls lore. Not sure about the others but thanks for the mentions. I'll definitely deep dive a rabbit hole or two on them.
@@oddenough4me if you know and like ESO the lore behind it then I assume you'd like SL - the RP communities - that started in 2004, and especially VTM - The White Wolf and World of Darkness - that started even before SL and set some standards for videogames touching the supernatural races and classes...
If someone would write a history of the videogames those are classics that brought lore into the videogames... considering that ESO is in fact somewhat new, only released in 2014... it's definitely inspired by predecessors...
If you really enjoy that kind of lore then researching deeper can be rewarding for you...as it is for many...

I applaud the efforts to build up and maintain lore, as it keeps the magic of coming back going... it's part of the charm and it's always fun to learn more about the lore... courtesy to your writers, it's interesting, even if those randomly generated fantasy names are hard to swallow...
altho' in this case, this video about the lore, it's simplistic, just some pictures and a voiceover reciting a well-written text, it still is better than nothing, and as such the effort to make it must appreciate...
@Plarium - keep it going, but make it more complex, deep, and intricate... after a while, simple pictures and a voice and some text won't do it anymore...
and in-game too, come up with something even better, maybe your own version of ESO... just the arena type of clashes and just watching some pretty champions doing repetitive animations are not enough anymore... the artwork concept is excellent and pleasant to the eye... but I mean not good enough for players to spend real money on it...

What's the meaning of that?, Deliana is just another High Elve, nothing more, this narrative history is about the faction in general...

1. How dare we release a video about the High Elves without including Arbiter in it? Did anyone spot her?
2. Who is that champ at 0:43 in the video? Perhaps a preview of the Wood Elves?
3. Who's the champ at 0:57? How integral is their role in the story?
4. WHO IS THE GUY ON THE THRONE? He's gotta be a badass, right? One would hope haha.
5. WHEN IS SIROTH COMING TO THE GAME?! I'd LOVE to see this guy as a playable champion one day, he's GOTTA be an OP champ, omg.
