Hey, great reaction!! When I saw this I couldn't hit subscribe quick enough!! I started listening to Ronnie when I was a twelve year old little girl, and now I'm sixty-five and I don't go one day without listening to my favorite metal singer and frontman of all time. I'm shocked that not many reaction channels will react to Dio. I think it's a shame that "The Metal God" doesn't get much attention. IMO, Ronnie was the best thing that ever happened to Black Sabbath!! There will never be another one like him to ever walk this planet. Even when it was several months before he passed away he was still kicking azz on stage in 2009 with Black Sabbath that had since changed their band name to "Heaven & Hell". Their last album "The Devil You Know" is epic!! I suggest watching a live version of him singing "Bible Black" from that album. Thanks for keeping his memory alive. R.I.P. (Rock In Peace) Ronnie. You are missed beyond measure. (I'm sending all my metalhead friends and family your way!) 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Agree with other, one of the best songs ever and Iommi is beyond underrated here, arguably the best track on the album including the immortal title track. Do It or if you have, do Sign Of the Southern Cross from the next album. Great stuff, enjoy! 🔥🎵🎸🎤🎸🎶🔥
An outstanding reaction! Loved it! Tony iommi (eye-OWE-me), the consensus creative genius who effectively invented metal and several subgenres, all while missing the fingertips on two fingers on his fretting hand.
Wow - what a voice! So long since I listened to 'Dio' era Sabbath. H&H and MR are undoubtedly both superb albums. Must admit though, I still have a soft spot for the 'original' Ozzy era. Technically not a patch on Dio, but somehow Ozzy just fitted in perfectly with Iommi's immense riffage! Sabbath truly were an awesome band! Thanks for posting Cheezy!🤟🏼
I became a fan of your channel because of your awesome reactions to The Warning, who in a very short time have become one of my 'top 3" artists. Now I hope you go down the path for a greater discovery to another in that group - Ronnie James Dio. You obviously know his work, but I wonder how far you've delved? I'll give you a few lesser-known suggestions that you hopefully will consider reacting to. With Black Sabbath, the Dehumanizer album (1992) is often overlooked. It was a one-off reunion album after Dio and Vinnie Appice left the Sabbath fold in the early 80s. It is amazing, with many songs that are worthy of your attention. From the Dio band, I'll give you two. The first is Dream Evil (1987) which came out around the time that non-commercial Metal was starting to decline in popularity and this album lacked the attention earlier Dio albums received. The second is Magica (2000), a concept album about religion. Here, I recommend "As long as it's not about Love" as particularly powerful, but there are many other bangers on the album. Keep up the good work, you have one of my favorite reaction channels; your obvious appreciation for the greatness of certain musicians is very appealing.
Not sure if this is the original recording or the 2021 remaster, but for me the 2007 remaster has always been the one that's the most sonically pleasing.
During this time in the very early 80s Joan and Ozzy Osbourne logged a complaint that the band had to change their name since they got so much better without Ozzy in the lineup. For a short time, they called themselves Heaven and Hell to avoid all of the court hassles. I personally never liked Black Sabbath with the ozzy era he sucks as a singer IMO, Ronnie James Dio helped Tony Iommi make the band so much better. This was my Jr year in High School, and I still recall buying this cassette and was the only one who had the LP in southwest Texas (Eagle Pass) and everyone wanted to borrow it, oh such great times those were. This Tony's most amazing solo where it ranks high with Glen Tipton's Beyond the Realms of Death, Jimmy Page's Stairway to Heaven, and Miyako's Edge of the World solo so much soul and emotion.
Their first 6 albums with Ozzy are utter classic and pioneering heavy metal. Saw them 8 times with Ozzy and 3 times with Dio, the first several times with Ozzy were the best I ever saw that band play. Loved Dip as well, all their different singers each had something to ad to heavy music history for me.
One of the GREATEST SONGS EVER. PERIOD
DIO was something man what a singer Listen Stargazer Rainbow. A Great song you listen to by the way
Dio era Sabbath was incredible! If you haven't heard "Sign of the Southern Cross", it's another masterpiece.
More of Dio!!!! Falling of the edge of the world
When the key board come in at the end of that master solo it makes me cry ..so emotionally heavy
Same, every time!🤘🔮🎸🌠

Thanks for the info and support!
Thanks.. I could listen to Tony playing those "Black Blues" all day. 'Over And Over' from 'Mob Rules', is similar.

"Heaven and Hell" and "Mob Rules" were Sabbath's best albums.
これぞ名盤です、ありがとう ロニーJames DIO、。

1980 was a superior year for heavy metal

It’s just Black Sabbath, the best version.
🤘Dio!🤘Can you do a reaction for my favorite band Sinister Ghost please?
Dio would say his greatest work was Heaven And Hell. I'm just saying that he never sang on a better song than this one.
