Hi Bo, my pick would be the Panzer 1! Dirt cheap, enclosed, 12 shots. Everyone is always surprised when I turn up and do well with them, two of them is the same as 1 Panzer 3 points wise!
Some obscure stuff there! The heavy field car is the go-to for sturmpioneers. I favour a sdkfz10, it's only 5pts more but it's not troubled by hedges/wall/barbed wire and cross wooded areas. Not as fast obvious but if I'm running two assault sqds I take one of each - best of both worlds. PS the wee Pz1 needs some love ;)
How did I miss the Hotchkiss? What a cool tank. The only problem with the M15/42 Polizei is that you can't take it in a German Tank platoon. So I think the Panzer 3 is now more useful for German players. Italian players can take the M15/42 in a tank platoon and they have the option to add a pintle mmg as well.
The sdkfz10 is only a faust more expensive :) not as fast but hedges/walls aren't an issue (neither is barbed wire!) and can advance through woods. I take one of each and deploy as required.
My top three is the Panzerwerfer 42 with roof mounted MMG for infantry protection, SD Kfz 251/21 Drilling with 3 light autocannons, and Opel Blitz/ truck with MMG. Biggest drawback with the field car is the lack of a weapon as they are pretty vulnerable with ambushing or infantry in general if they run across them with a open field of fire. Chieftain (US Tank historian and actual M1A2 tank commander in Iraq in the early to mid 2000's) on here on UA-cam said to differentiate between a Pz III and IV and their derivitives is simple count the road wheels divide by 2 if it has 6 it is Pz III if it is 8 then Pz IV.
Thank you for this video !😃 ...but all sd kfz 250/251, from the >transports< selection (inc. upgrades) , aren't made for tournaments 🤔 except the SD kfz 250/5, if you choose a forward observation unit... this small tanks are made for tactically play-styl but you have to pay 15 points/each (minimum) for some abilities you can't use in every circumstance.
Bo I'm going to go with the Motorcycle sidecar combi with MMG, it's a unit I've included in all my german lists and when you've reviewed them said it is a must.
the best part about the 250(9 is that they noticed the mesh armor on top, but in the other way around: they faqed it to be closed top out of no where... LOL maybe the number 5 was the motorbike? Or the panzer 2 luchs, or any vehicle with quad autocannon on top.
Anyone know a reliable place that produces a good Hotchkiss H35/H39 (Panzer 35H/38H)? Specifically looking for the one with the Wurfrahmen rocket launcher. I found one on Etsy but the print looked poor. Thanks!

Might not be worth the tank slot, but absolutely worth throwing in an armored platoon.

Currently running a Drilling and an Italian M14 in my list. The Drilling is a sleeper unit for sure.
The field car gets picked because it is cheap and useful for small engineer SMG squads the halftracks are a bit expensive. Also a cheap order die.

Oh yes i can definetly feel no9, my sherman got outpinned by two hits, killing my spotter aswell due to the giant template

BMW bike very good for its points auto include for my German lists if not using the 250/9

The Puma car should be somewhere in this list if you ask me. It's the best car in the game.
