You should have the free DLC. It adds two more campaigns, besides just the default one, on the campaign select screen. One where you go against the cyber dudes, and the other where you team up with Dollar Dragon. The other two DLCs are just more weapons added to the game. I've put 21 hours into it so far, with my longest run maybe lasting around 17 or so in game days. Still haven't beaten it yet. Came within two territories of capturing the map my last run, but just way to many cops to survive against in the escape from Chuck mission. They posted the new roadmap for the game, maybe a week or two ago. Showing at least four more content updates are being added.
Very helpful, especially explaining how/why this game was overlooked as reviewers would rather sneer at it's minor "jank" than go into any depth. I've 10 years of single player Payday 2 but didn't like the look of the sequel, so I'll give Crime Boss a chance for sure.
I find the mission objective "Find the Required Amount of Cocaine" to be hilarious. Can't be a little bit of cocaine, can't be too much. Goldilocks shit.
i really liked that game. yeah its not the best, yeah its kinda cringe, but its kinda fun and its obvious it went for that trashy crime movie from the 90s feel and it doest it well. only downside for me is that the ai in general is kinda bad but honestly dont care, had fun. there are worse games that get glazed by reviewers so ya. no regrets
YES, fun to play. Yet the replay ability while infante is also frustrating. This repeating missions became tiresome or even possibly chore related, on some missions you know are easy as pie. Oh, this mission again, Hmm again, leading to not again...sigh. Yet sometimes great as I messed this one up the last 5 times. When you have a campaign going well, loads of great weapons skills etc and the investigation reaches 100% that's it, no options, game over, a harsh reality. In some campaigns I found this can happen in less than 14 turns (14 days), sure you can squeeze more turns out of it, but it is leaves a feeling of not enough time to complete, without replaying XX times and acuminating enough carry over skills for next run. Ok here we go again...
You get lwess investigation when you complete missions queitly, and with the latest update can bribe the police to siphon of investigation progress, killing detectives also reduces investigation. Completing heists before do turf wars also limits police prescence on those heists

Another bonus is that if you stealth a big heist, the other gangs can blame each other for the hit and become hostile towards each other over it
Imagine this game with its roguelike mode combined with a nemesis type system
Id say the detectives are close enough, they are quite a bit stronger than the cops

9:48 I assume you play on PC and you have settings max out. There is bug with lightning, it shouldn't be that dark. Put graphics to medium to fix it
