Just subscribed last night. This is the first episode I watched. Has a very Film Riot feel to it. Great job!

Gray Wolf Pictures "Set Lighting Technicians Handbook" by Harry C. Box. I'm gonna show it on my show one day

I have always called extruded aluminum, speed rail, is that slang or what?

jared jaynes you're not wrong, if you watch the video again I almost reference it. You can't say "speed rail" anymore because Hollaender trademarked it and word through the grapevine is that they have started send cease and desist letters to companies that use the term. I literally learned that the day I posted this video. They sent letters out just last week. Which imo is poor planning but they bought it so what can you do

Could you use these pipe for hanging lights for one on one interviews? If so, what other parts would I need? Good stuff!

Ahh! I was thinking of using the pipe as a long boom arm. I prefer your way!

Oh yea, we call that a "menace arm"

Hey Dave, Local 80 Grip here and FB friend. I know you can't really go back add this, but could you provide in the video's description the difference between schedule 40 and schedule 80? There are a lot of guys who use those terms loosely without understanding them. Thanks brother!
