Fantastic that they are properly cleaning the metal before slapping some paint on the inside of the tank that transports water. Im sure the completely unprepped surface poorly painted will never flake and contaiminate the water... 😮

43:07 I can't believe how they welded the axle together. Only a bead between the plate and the tube without reinforcement brackets. By hitting a well the axle will be lost

Я хоть долек от сварочного дела, но на первый взгляд тоже так подумал ,что это х..ня как они соединили мост с рессорами для этой цистерны в 7 ТОНН !!!
То что мосту лет 50 уже, а то и больше, да и колесам не на много меньше не смущает )))?

Remarkable steady hand with the flame cutter, it takes a lot of skill to make clean and accurate free hand cuts like that
What is amazing is that somewhere in Pakistan there is a 20,000 pound water trailer with 5 inches of welds holding the axle to the frame. Scary.............
........ and worth mentioning the welding 'Ray Ban' glasses, safety flipflops, working on the dirt and chipmunk voices !!!!! A typical roadside Pakistani WkSp video.

These large tanks in agriculture are mainly used to spray manure from industrial agriculture onto the fields. This is not good for the environment.
Not to mention the lack of cleaning the frame metal prior to welding the tank to it 😮

Nice looking trailer I must admit despite such unit will never pass the the vehicle inspection of a country of the western hemisphere with regards to just common safety standards. Further, an environment which is safe to the workers does also not exist there neither does safety equipment.

A couple of 2 inch welds holding the spring pads to the axle are not going to last very long. Not with 7000 liters weight on it.
What is the purpose of the secondary leaf springs? They dont function very well without a frame tab to land on the ends of the spring.
Inner bearing seal??? Usually the inner bearing and then the inner oil seals are installed into the hub . THEN the hub is slid onto the axle.

I thought the same. How can two welds hold when it hits a bump in the road? They must surely bolt the axle to the suspension.
7000 litres or 7 metrics tons is probably not going too jump off the truck to easily, also I guess unless something catastrophic happens. Of course the weight can vary a lot depending on how full. Lack of baffles is a bigger worry for the driver.
The load weight is not putting stress on the welds.
@@calvingreene90 The welds also have to take the "pull" of the towing vehicle. Speaking as a retired welder, that is one of the poorest attempts at welding a spring perch I have ever seen. I would call it more of a tack weld to hold it in place for welding.

When the tank is not fully filled with liquid, waves occur in the liquid with the forward movement of the liquid in sudden stops. These waves can cause accidents. In order to prevent these waves, two perforated sheet metal had to be welded inside the tank. Breakwater sheets prevent the movement of liquids in the tank.

My friend from Pakistan worked with me for this welding company in South Carolina. He was hands down the best welder that company had. But unfortunately he got fired for too many safety infrastructures. When he left he opened up his on welding shop but that didn't last because of the fines that he kept racking up from OSHA and the Health Department. After that he opened up a liquor/ tobacco store...

7000L of water - that's 7000kg ( 7 tonne or 7.7 US ton). no baffles in the tank and the absolute minimum of welds = death trap. I would question every weld as well, no slag cleanup, they're wearing only sunglasses so I would expect they close their eyes when they weld. It's hard to weld a decent bead when you can't see and don't clean the slag to check.
