This is it friends. The final GBA fire emblem. I'm excited to dig into this one, since it's probably the entry I know the least about (plot-wise)/ Can't wait to pick up all the FE7 baddies!

i recently downloaded FE+ which is a hack that enables all the difficulties at the start. Lyn Hard mode disables tutorial...or you can jump straight into Eliwood or Hector mode. you can optionally enable fixed growths, meaning levels have no RNG which i honestly prefer

Thanks for the info! I wanted to do my first playthrough as vanilla as possible, but I might look into that if I choose to go back and do Hector mode
