Logansport and Peru had Wabash Erie canal, and the rails are right by it in some places

The natives were not driven out. Southern Ohio was was vacated according to the Treaty of Greenville and northern Ohio along the canal was purchased by the Indian Agent in Piqua. The Great Black Swamp only affected around 10% of the Canal.
