that seal on the valve cover normally leaks Mickie easy fix to it is a light RTV bead around it so it stays sealed down the road. When they assemble them they just slap it on an says its good enough I like keeping the oil where it belongs in the engine but she is really going to be a wild ass build loving the content guys.
While everybody replaces the front tub at the shock tower of the car, most of the tire rubbing on the S13 is from the firewall side. Excellent call replacing that part!
That hood is awesome🤩! If you paint it a dark color full carbon. But if you do a lighter color paint it with some carbon showing. Like the gtr style vents and some of the center area
Question, would it have been easier or more difficult from the start to put tubs in the front wheel wells? Oh and if the holes are filled in on the hood where will the windshield fluid nozzles go?
Really enjoying the content never disappointed. Have been looking for a 240 for awhile now but here in North Attleboro Massachusetts always want to much and they're rusted horrible. Hey @throtl I have a recommendation for your next tool purchase: a pneumatic metal shears. An air tool that shears metal sheet instead of using the angle grinder. Much faster and cleaner. #mickeyspec
Paint the hood and leave some carbon accents. And please paint the grill/chicken wire material a durable black or gunmetal color. It looks really unfinished when it's left silver.

i would be putting some foam between the guard on the inside just behind of the arch you fixed to keep road noise out of the cabin

Jeff Locke they don’t do corners great the shears mostly are for straight cuts a nibbler would do tight cuts but leave a serrated edge
