It will damage your hair if its often
It may look healthy, but it’s very damaging to the hair. Her hair type is usually very fine and can easily be damaged by heat.

I watched this a while back and I have been washing my hair the way she did this beautiful little girls and this has made my life so much easier. My hair is as curly as hers and it takes me forever to deal with my curls so I just end up straightening my hair to make it easier on me and the time I spend. Brushing my hair out was a freaking painful nightmare. Since watching this I've been keeping my hair curly more often than not now. I'm 45 years old and still learning things. I wish I would have thought to condition my hair first and then wash and condition again. I do it step by step like she does in this video now and it has helped me so much. 💚
As a child with what i call wild frizzy curly hair i hated getting my hair done! I think it’s because i had sooo much hair and most people didnt have the patience to “deal” with it :/ then i got a relaxer in my teen years and look back and wish i never did that! I’m now 36 and on a journey to go back to my natural hair, wish me luck!

Sarah flower, i have been a hairdresser as long as you have been alive and although i know that as a white woman with poker straight hair, you probably think i am lucky. I have tried every curling treatment alive to get curls and i do....for about 10 minutes, lol. Me, i would not have used a chemical treatment on your natural hair because they do destroy it and your hair is never really the same again. I would have done everything i could to discourage you from doing that to your hair because you can straighten it or have big bouncy curls or your own natural beautiful crown and glory. I would encourage all girls and ladies born with beautiful natural hair to look at semi permanent styling with rollers and straighteners (BUT PLEASE ALWAYS USE A PROTECTOR) to gain the style of your dreams. Please try not to use chemicals to undo your bonnie, bonnie hair. I hope you succeed Sarah flower in regaining your bonnie curls again. Hugs from Scotland from a fine, straight haired woman who would have loved what all naturally curly haired people hate.x
I'm 27 and I have same story except I refused to relax my hair. It is really hard to deal with it my hair is so heavy and long but curly like this girls hair. I always wear my hair bun i don't have much choices
This was an AWESOME day for this young lady. I am a red head who has dealt with ultra kinky, course hair all her life. (Grew up in the mid 70’s when kids all had long-stick straight hair-I was forced to sport the “Ronald McDonald” rather than “Cher”). Never forget the day I had my first “pull out” I felt so beautiful! Now I know what a gift natural curl is-but for me it felt amazing. Awesome job♥️

I'm not going to lie I was thinking shouldn't have been a plug or something cuz the client hair was also very long and it kept leaning in the direction of drain. I was told that isn't clean business but maybe I am wrong? Her hair turned out beautiful though 😍!

It reminds me my hair always looks healthy after months of absences from the hairdressers and on my first return to the hairdressers. Meaning if don't go to hairdressers for months when I return to the hairdressers and my hair pressed it is silky and looks healthy when it is stretched. I used to think it was the hairdreser, products, steaming etc. I now realise it was just a combination of letting the natural oil in my hair do its work and putting less heat/ stress in my hair. This is because when then I return to the hair dressers next month to maintain the style my hair looks less vibrant and with each subsequent visit.
So for me personally, it lets me know my hair is much healthier when it is natural and just need to learn how healthy my hair is after months of absences.
How long does this last when the hair is pressed out? I think it is so awesome looking!

I agree, but it was probably for something "special". I let my daughter get her hair straightened for her first day of 5th grade, hasn't been straightened since (or before), she's in 7th grade now. It was a fun, one-time thing. She experienced it and got over it lol.

My hair doesn't quite have the coils as this girls hair does anymore but it still takes me forever to do my hair. It takes me over an hour to straighten my hair. Thats why I usually just let it go natural.

Finally someone who knows how to deal with natural hair...hee hair looks like mine when blow dried but my hsir is like a brillo pad when blow dried 😣😣...Eden you should get a revair blowdrier and see if it makes a difference to flatiron moisture retension result
