This was one of my greatest purchases from years ago. Still using it today. The wheels eventually locked up when opening but a little grease will loosen it right back up. It gets beaten up a lot but I highly recommend this cart.

Great cart and very useful. However, mine does NOT open as easily as yours...at all!

The first video I reviewed lol. Dang, I wasted a lot of time figuring out how to unfold trolley that holds 90kgs.... gave up and struggled moving packed 30 litres plastic containers around using my office chair....tomorrow will be sweeter. Thank You! 👍

Fair review, describes it well. It looked pretty easy to open the base and wheels and it was when I first got mine too. After a good number of years, now it's really hard to open. I have to pull the wheels out, hold them in the out position, and then I can put down the plate. So, kind of a three-handed operation. :). That said, it has served well for many years, including helping it moving house, taking stuff to donate to the charity shop, moving some heavy stuff by public transport. It will easily hold more weight than I want to move in one go. For the money (about $30 bucks I think I paid), it's been decent. If you need a truck to use every day, get something bigger and sturdier, but for sometimes use, this will do.

Wow, so many faulting the reviewer (in kind of a nasty way) - mean commentary is the real waste of time. I've owned this MCX model Magna Cart (red handle) for 10 years and its still in regular (daily) use. I initially used it for college, now I use it for unloading groceries including Costco weight / size supplies i.e. (3 x 42 lb. bags of cat litter) or 126 Lbs. I transport 3 - 4 pet carriers with animals inside stacked and secure with bungy cord to the veterinary. I also use it around my house daily (no exaggeration). It's condition now - after 10 years of regular, heavy use :
✅ The wheels don't rotate out as designed - I have to pull open one wheel to get the mechanism started, then use my foot to do the rest.
✅ The red handle gets jammed - rather than risk stressing the units I keep the back in fully extended position (39 in.) and it still fits in car quite conveniently.
✅ I use care while pulling back on the loaded cart - I reach around to front of load with one hand while pulling back with the other, in one motion - using my foot against the wheel as a brake until its in rolling position. This 'pull & push with foot brake motion removes a great percentage of stress on the cart. I believe this resulted in the longevity of the cart performing so well over the years.
✅ I paid $28.53 10 years ago (Amazon purchase in 2011 archive). Perhaps the quality is different than what is manufactured today, BUT, the detailed pictures look identical to mine.
Note: I DO NOT use it for gardening or outdoor type projects - those tasks are obviously suited for (non-portable) steel frame hand trucks - Industrial hand trucks of 600 lb. or greater capacity.

Useful for me as I'm looking for telescopic handles to repurpose for another project. This held good visual details of all angles I was curious about. Watched with sound off as others sleep, so no comment on sound.

Aside from taking forever to open the damn hand cart, the poster omitted one hugely important factor. What kind of metal is, and how sturdy are those collapsable handles? When you pile a bunch of boxes on and start to roll, you will be putting a bunch of weight against the handles. How sturdy are those handles for supporting 100+ pounds of weight?

This one looks like it has square rails, so it probably better than the fifty other brands on Amazon with oblong rails. I have a Calflower one that tipped over with 25 lbs. on it and bent the telescoping rail so it wouldn’t fold again. If you want a stronger one get one with only two telescoping pieces instead of three. Of course they won’t be as compact when folded. Amazon sells the identical trolley under multiple names and with different weight limits ( 75 to 185 lbs.). I wouldn’t put more than 50 lbs. on any of them. These work best at low speeds on smooth surfaces. If you’re on sidewalks, decks etc. keep the trolley in front of you and use both hands. A half inch crack or hole can cause them to flip. This one looks like the best of the super compact ones out there. If you care more about strength than compactness I recommend the HaulPro-COLAPSA Cart Foldable Hand Truck Dolly. It’s about ten inches taller when folded, but the railings are very sturdy.

      Yes I agree.
I thought I'd see him use the bungee cord.Thats what I'm trying to figure out loading my bass riG.
I think I may extend the plate...
Not sure what the 3holes in the front of the plate are for.
Also,I had a wheel break so I took it back for exchange. If wheel breaks again,I'll order some metal ones with rubber with out the plastic brittle spokes 😊

if you buy one, don't keep it in a garage or outdoors in the winter. The cold will make the plastic brittle - our wheels simply snapped one day. No replacements available.

Yup no prob just strap it on you're basically strapping wheels to the heavy thing you want to move. The wheels are the fulcrum and the thing itself is the lever

I keep one in each of my vehicle, I am not allowed medically to lift heavy weights, nor do I want my family to lift anything heavy. I use different brands and none of them have broken yet. It all depends on how much you abuse them, if you do no cart would survive.

It is very well built but mine has a real problem with opening. In the video it appears very easy to do, but I have to force mine. It would have been better to be able to open each wheel and lock it in place. I have only used it about a half dozen times. Due to that problem I would have to give it a thumbs-down.

Something very non-intuitive about the design for opening. Seems like there should be some kind of release process for the mechanism. If you have to force something with considerable effort, it is not a very good design.

Glad I’m not the only one struggling to open it! I thought it was broken as I picked it up, looking almost new, from a thrift store. Three hands about sums it up. Have to open both the wheels first without letting them go cause they’ll fold back in, & you then have to simultaneously use your third hand to pull the thick aluminum base down while still pulling the wheels outward.
Terrible design, but I’ll find a way to get used to it for $3! 😅
