Imagine Tesco gets its hands on the Welsh cakes, cling film bags, with ribbon 🎗️ cross knots. This place is surprisingly different from everywhere else. I suppose it's the refreshing weather, and atmosphere of community cohesion, that gives it that special feeling. Its a must visit, place for sublime quite, walk. So spacious, and accommodating as well. I am coming round for some Welsh brand cakes. Lol
Thank you for making a great video about my home town. You really captured its beauty! It makes a positive change, because people normally are very negative about it. Well done!!!
Thank you for showing my home city in such a fantastic light. Although I've lived here all of my 56 years it made me a tiny bit emotional that you took the time to show it to others across the internet and to be honest you've done a brilliant job. Only downside as you know, one day isn't enough as there is more than the city centre and Singleton Park in Swansea. Only one problem, your pronunciation of Abertawe, it's Aber-t-ow (as in "that hurt") -ee. 😀
Glad you enjoyed the video! It’s a great city for a day out but you’re right too much to do in a day. Thanks for helping with the terrible pronunciation 😬
As a local some of the best views can be found on the grounds of the Cefn Coed Hospital. It's on top of the hill of cockett and you can see everything from the city centre to the mumbles.
Just catching up with your great review of our city here at Swansea. Thank you for show casing the place's you visited that day, you did a grand job. We are blessed to have a lovely beach on our doorstep. Hope you lads visit again, more exploration next time. All the best...
The little castles dotted around swansea are Wales Air Ambulance Charity “Castles in the Sky” free summer trail. If you kept going past Singleton park, you would find Singleton boating lake, after that is Blackpill lido and across the road is Clyne Gardens which is a beautiful walk, and then further along you will get to the mumbles. If you come back to swansea those places are a must. X
Love it when people discover and enjoy Swansea. I went to university there in the late 90s. Really glad you had good weather for your trip. Nice video. And definitely do some Gower and Mumbles next time. Gower beaches are stunning.
Oh you missed the old Swansea Museum (right next to the Waterfront Museum) It has a mummy!!! Loved this day in my home town. I am diwn the Marina every day in work - great to see it being appreciated!!!
Next time - do Blackpill and Mumbles - Clyne Gardens when it's in bloom is stunning! Oystermouth Castle (which you can go in) and Mumbles pier and the big apple
Swansea has had budget cuts, pigeons are all they can afford , God love them. The Dragon tower , is definitely up my street, and it’s a Red 🟥 Dragon, at that ( my favorite color ). It’s nice to see you lads , out and about, with Lady Jane & Lady Sarah of London. Those sausage rolls were definitely, a meal by themselves.
Our wonderful city of Swansea is outshone sadly by Cardiff, but we have a beach to die for and gower peninsula on our doorstep, our city centre is not the greatest but alcohol means Cardiff is the destination for many. Swansea is truly a lovely place to visit, we are called Swansea jacks!!! After a black Labrador who saved many lives,,, his name was jack. Glad you enjoyed our wonderful city
The beach totally took us by surprise, you’re very lucky. Pretty certain we walked passed a statue of Jack the Labrador on the sea front near that old railway bridge? 🤔
Love seeing the Fab Four together, you lot are hilarious. I remember morph from Take Hart with Tony Hart, I believe that’s how it started & Josh, it doesn’t matter that you had Chinese 2 days ago, Chinese is so good to eat daily, ask the people 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Great vid guys 👍🏼 as usual x
9:30 really ? I didnt know that I assumed most UK cities had beaches now that I think of it a lot of cities are not on the coastline maybe I took this beach for granted, I take my dog along the coastal path everyday for a walk, glad you guys enjoyed your time here highly recommend the three cliffs bay if you ever visit again , or Tenby in south west wales during the summer it has a mediterranean seaside town vibe colourful pastel houses with 2 golden sand beaches and torqoiuse water
if you've visited Swansea and not got to the Gower then you've messed up. Deffo need to visit the gower!!its a must!!!. its like going to paris but not going near the eiffel tower!!!
I remember Morph 😂😂😂, he was maroon coloured😂😂, your baseball cap boys the one with 👻 on it, is it yours (i mean the JJextra brand, it obviously belongs to you lol). Good to see the girls again they are looking well.
It’s not one of ours no. It’s part of the merchandise range for Sam and Colby, some of our favourite UA-camrs. They do haunted places, hence the ghosts.
Parts of Swansea are beautiful but like many other UK cities the reconstruction after WW2 leaves much to be desired. Bara Brith literally mean Speckled Bread in English
Don't know why you didn't walk through city centre it's got so run down 10 years ago Swansea was a nice city plenty of shops now it's all gone that's all they are building large sky srapers for accommodating students
I had to come looking for you guys. YT algorithm doesn't realise the range of subjects I enjoy, and so I only get the recently visited channels suggested. I expect I won't be able to move for your stuff now. Swansea tourist board owes you! Great publicity bigging up the city. Eat too many of those saus'rolls & it won't just be Swansea getting massive. Bye!
Honestly I live in Swansea city centre and its still a pretty shitty city. Lately there's been a lot of these religious preachers around town trying to force their religious beliefs on shoppers and the usual group of down and outers and druggies. Nothings changed in Swansea lol
Like any city we are sure it has its bad as well as its good points. Cant say we were bothered by anyone on our visit and found all the people we interacted with to be friendly but we understand it will likely have its…. “characters”.
Come on Guys....there's not much there worth seeing and a lot of ugly buildings. I wouldn't visit in a hurry. It must be a nightmare in winter with constant rain and dark skies.
Brilliant video love it! Next time explore more of the Gower especially the beaches (three cliffs)👍🏻🦢
Thanks! Will do!

We were so lucky with the weather in Swansea - I could have sat on that beach all day with a good book and coffee - I’ll buzzzz off now 🐝 xx
Weather was 👌🏻 and that bee costume suited you 😂

Glad you enjoyed it! We will definitely be back at some point as we need to explore more of the city and The Gower too!
@JJExtra Brilliant, and all the very best 👍
Not sure how long you are in Swansea, but a trip to Mumbles and The Gower is a must.
Our trip is over unfortunately but we have been to The Gower before, we must get back there though!
Rhosilli Bay is a golden gem. One of the best views in the UK, simple amazing
ive lived here for 5 years now .... and i love it here :)
'Is it a castle? No it's an octopus!' 😂😂😂. And Josh's hair & Sharon (I thought it was Jane) flying! 😂😂😂.
😂🤣

Definitely Oystermouth Castle as well
Thanks for all the info and tips, we will definitely be back to explore more in the future 😊
You two are so funny. You crack me up. Love your videos.
😊 thank you
Ok boyos another great trip. Loved the museum and botanical gardens. Thanks for sharing. Keep up the good work.
Glad you enjoyed it. The botanical garden is an absolute gem!

Glad you enjoyed the video! We have done some of Gower before but didn’t have time on this visit. No doubt we will be back in the future!
Looks good lots to do and see. Nice to see you on a trip out with the lady’s.
Do you have a shot taken further away from the holes in the bridge? Look out for the Swans in the pattern of the holes!
Hi Guys! Lovely Welsh vlog... and nice to see the girls again. The Pork and Apple sausage rolls looked tasty 😋 Big thumbs up 👍
Still dreaming about those sausage rolls 😋
I am proud alumnus of Swansea University (class of 2023) and enjoyed every bit of this video. Marina was my favourite place.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice vlog guys I'm planning on going to Wales next year and going to Llandudno it looks like a very good holiday place! 🤠
Oh very nice! Llandudno is on our list to visit too, looks like a great place.
Oh you missed the old Swansea Museum (right next to the Waterfront Museum) It has a mummy!!!

We didn’t have time to do the other museum but we will definitely be back so thank you for all of the recommendations 😊
There's also the Egypt Centre on Swansea Uni's Singleton Park campus near to the Taliesin Cinema
I had no idea there was such a stunning beach in Swansea…looks beautiful.. also those sausage rolls 😮 😋
The beach took us by surprise too. Still dreaming of those sausage rolls 😋

We didn’t see a single swan! 😂 those sausage rolls were incredible and red is the best colour 🙌🏼 (Jason)
lol Morph and Pingu - two really big blasts from the past @04:37 😂

Great video boys hello from Seychelles
Thanks Pete! Have an amazing time in the Seychelles (sure you will).
Maps, guides, magazines and new books must all me sniffed.
Josh, mate - if you ARE too young for Morph, you need to change your moisturiser.😉
Ouch 😂🤣
Good video guys. Easiest way to to remember how to pronounce Abertawe is think The Only Way Is Essex, Aber towie.
No
😂
Next time you visit you have to try joes ice cream
I remember Morph 😂😂😂, he was maroon coloured😂😂, your baseball cap boys the one with 👻 on it, is it yours (i mean the JJextra brand, it obviously belongs to you lol). Good to see the girls again they are looking well.

Visit town hill in swansea
It's scary how I were right in that place in Swansea because I live there i lost my sisters balloon there by the milkshake place
Parts of Swansea are beautiful but like many other UK cities the reconstruction after WW2 leaves much to be desired.
Bara Brith literally mean Speckled Bread in English
We enjoyed our day in the city. Thanks for the info on Bara Brith, it’s always nice to find out more about regional things 😊
@@JJExtra Glad you enjoyed! Always enjoy your videos! All the best to you both 👍
I don't smell catalogues or leaflets but i do smell new sponge scourers or bath sponges😂😂😂😂
That’s defo not normal either 😂
@@JJExtra 😂😂
🤫 dont tell everyone about Swansea
Oops 😬
@@JJExtra Honestly fantastic video guys, thanks for repping my hometown
It’s not called Swansea because of swans
Don't know why you didn't walk through city centre it's got so run down 10 years ago Swansea was a nice city plenty of shops now it's all gone that's all they are building large sky srapers for accommodating students

We managed to find plenty to do 🤷🏻♂️
