We just got a pickle caster with tongs from my husband's grandmother. She thought it was a candy dish, and laughed when I GASPED at seeing it. It was my husband's grandmother's grandmother's! We are so honored to have it, and it will forever be a part of our home! So excited for you that you found one!
I did not know what those were used for until this year! Two channels I subscribe to, including this channel, found them. They are quite pretty.

Hi it's great to find someone who loves GW just as much as I do. I have much respect for GW because it's a place I have always shopped. It first started as I was growing up as a younger child and my mom didn't have money to shop for me in the malls and higher priced stores. So my clothes and shoes always came from Goodwill growing up and as I got older it became my addiction. I literally won't shop anywhere but thrift stores for myself. I've always dressed from there and it makes me feel really good because I always get complimented on things I've bought for a very low price sometimes 50 cents it depends on the day and the stickers they have up on the percentage markdown. It is my addiction and my weakness. I have to behold myself sometimes because I get so carried away with buying that I start to hoard things. 🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I'm now in my mid 30s and I haven't lost one drop of love for goodwill and other thrift stores. I love them even more now.

I absolutely love your videos. For one we have the same taste. 2 I love how you take your time and show us everything including the price. It’s as if I’m there shopping myself. If my husband and I had to choose a fun day it would be thrifting we love it. However I take care of my mom who is 81 with a lot of issues including Alzheimer’s. She’s been in my home for almost 6 years so I don’t get out much. Watching your videos helps so much. Thank you I do shop online market place and send my hubby on runs 😂 if you could see the couch I found amongst other things ❤❤❤

Wow, can't believe All the goodies!! I don't need anything but I saw so many pieces I would have gotten. lol Those broken feet really aren't a big deal if u've got a little time & some patience. It's really easy to make a mold of a broken piece. Of course, being a foot, it wouldn't be as strong, but u wouldn't be able to tell the difference. U can even find the kits on Amazon. Amazing dish set for $39. I have never seen such great items in the Pittsburgh goodwill stores. Wow, 99 cents for a chair???? Those bins look scary. But you just might find the one item that will make your day.

Those dolls in the 1st store all looked to be 1980's and I bought a few at that time, but now I think most of them are not very attractive or desirable, even to me. However, I am on the look-out for a baby doll. The pitcher doesn't look vintage. Though some 40's pottery pieces were made without markings on the bottom, they have a different 'look'. Those printing blocks .... Amazing! If I could just go and 'meander' at the thrift stores again, I would be so excited!

Brilliant thank you love ❤️ this used to go to second hand shops and antique shops all the time since 1970s. And. Used to be high as a kite looking through these shops what a buzz I always got. So happy but not done for long time I had too much stuff gave it all back to charity shops but I really do enjoy your videos especially the furniture some beautiful vintage stuff but you need the space for it I will definitely be going on your site from now on very entertaining ❤️🏴❤️

I used to have lots of porcelain dolls and so did my girls.
But then their teenage years hit with all the scary movies.
And now mine are gone and so are theirs.
And my Granddaughters won’t have one.
It’s sad but now they creep me out!! Lol

What can I say? You just have better thrifting items in California. You's never find those prices or items in our thrift stores in Georgia. Our thrift stores and flea markets are terrible. Our antique stores used to be good, now most have closed. You have to across the bridge into South Carolina to get an antique MALL. You are very fortunate. I guess it's just as well. I would go broke in your stores by buying them out. Love the videos and love antiques! Happy thrifting and hunting!

Why has that goodwill store wrote on the items in marker pen? Some of the ceramic ware is very porous, so it will be hard to get off and if worth anything it will devalue the item

I have 2 flea market booths, for about 25 years, and I have noticed that the so called
THRIFT stores have raised their prices on the vintage items, so that they cost more
at GW, SA, and others, than at the antique & flea market booths! Some of these
prices are insane, after all, they get FREE products, so you would think, they
would be cheaper-but NOPE they are the same or higher-CRAZY!

I don’t know if anyone ever told you about the silver cleaning with baking soda and hot water, but it works wonders. I’ve been using it for several years. I do wash it and rinse after, but the tarnish just comes off.
We have nothing like that Goodwill near us.

I have heard about the bins from many thrifters Nationwide - I finally decided to look and see if there were any near me - and yup only 20 minutes away!! I will DEFINATELY be hitting this up soon!!!

You done it again, everything you bought for yourself was in perfect condition that pickle jar great find, the sweaters like new and that gold frame mirror can double as a tray for your perfume bottle collection don't you think? 🤔 I know because mom has a tray just like that. I fell in love with the red leather sofa OMG 😱 I would have paid anyone to haul it away for me. I'm not twenty anymore but if I was I'd be moving back to California, just to shop in those places.
