Not gonna lie...no matter what anyone says Fabled are some of the best looking cards in the game. IMHO.
when Yugioh wasnt about what people calls "waifus" I swear when I see for example DM artwork, or RE artwork and many old archetypes it makes you wonder what yugioh in terms of artwork became ... I dont mind having some "Female meta" archetype but not ALL of them, it became just too much of them (1 year of skystriekr, altergeist, Trickstar ... like recently) I miss beast and cool looking artwork

Did u know...that not all the Fabled say Discard, some say send to the GY, which apparently isn't the same thing, so those said "Fabled" monster don't help the deck, these said card need an errata to fix that

Finally someone talking about the fable cards that has some fo of knowledge on how they work lol. I see people complaining about the steep discard costs...but like it's fables lol. You play mostly monsters with a bunch of them having activated upon discard effects. So even if the effect gets negated you still pop off. Plus you can just throw dangers in there. Like fables is one of the few archetypes that you don't care about mass discarding because your own cards function off that. Not like dark world where they're reliant of discard by effect, not cost (though dark world has the luxury of having stronger boss monsters and better effects lol, fables really just special summon themselves)
i know when they first came off people just put off fabled as "poor man's dark world"

They were always better than Dark World. And now their gameplan stood the test of time while Dark World cant do shit.

Oh yeah I got that, just phrased that really poorly. I remember nobody caring about them even though they could shit out 3 Synchros turn 1 quite consistently. We still had Pot of Avarice and could just cycle through our whole deck without any problems. This deck was always very fast and didnt even lock you into anything like every deck nowadays.

Regicide looks amazing for specifically Unicore Stun though. Get your discard trigger, control your hand size to set up Unicore's negate, then get a free summon and a pop. If this card causes Unicore to negate something, it can be a +2 or +3 on its own.
True , with Fabled Unicore in GY and Fabled Regicide set ... you can really toss a stick in the wheels of the opponents play if you time it right (hand size).
Or you could Special summon Fabled Andraith on your opponents turn the moment they top deck draw to remove the card or have you gain the effect. To draw 2 discard 1.
I really like these new cards.
Moreover, you can even revive Fabled leviathan with the trap card or destroy your own leviathan to gain +3 Fabled from GY to your hand (hand size increase) while at the same time Special summoning for instance Fabled Unicorn to possibly time it and negate the opponent card.

The ascator and supay engines seem like natural fits to the deck as both one card level 6 and 8 synchro plays as well as free discards.
These are really cool cards. I do wish they had in archetype removal tied to discards. But otherwise really cool. They do a little bit of hand looping, with trish, and they swarm a lot. I like it, these cards breath life into fabled.

I mean, they've always been good. Just not powerful in terms of attack. Hell, they have draw, discard, special summoning, searching and good field summoning. The real weakness is lack of negates and power

@@sodaftpm185 I was reintroduced into the game and by that time synchros were fresh. Some guy was giving away cards and I just happened to have been there. The deck was confusing at first and overwhelming but I just kind of fell in love with the archetype. I experimented on a Unicore Lock that was probably the most convoluted and skillful deck I played.
If you wanna get really crazy, these bois can make quasar/blazar no problemo, and being primarily all monsters gives them access to berserker soul

The one card I hope Fabled get is a Fabled themed Boss monsters. a lvl 10 or 11 monster the "Queen" of the Fableds...maybe a spider-queen The Fabled-monster Synchro that can protect fableds or itself by using Fableds in GY or hand.
The new Synchro is lvl 6 and basically a new Fabled Raigin ...but who sent him to confront the King (fabled Leviathan)? ....maybe the queen? A equivilent to the Fabled Leviathan but a level 11.

My only complaint is the lackluster third effect of Stairway: An attack boost that happens only during *your* turn, when *you* attack, with a *Fabled* monster? Why couldn't the ATK boost have been a set amount like with almost every other archetypical Field Spell. Not every support has to be completely tied into the archetype's gimmick
Fabled Marchosia is special summoned by discarding one other fabled or two , so you can discard a single lvl 2 fabled to be able to SS the lv 6 synchro.
The new synchro fabled is actually really good and fun to play, you can basically pull the effect several times in a dual, since the effect is activated when it is special summoned and not synchro summoned (monster reborn, fabled regicide) make the opponent go -1 or you go +1 (and since it’s fabled often the discard is a special summon itself) and if they have zero cards in hand you get the effect to draw 2 and discard 1.
The second effect that enable you to Summon to your field the monster they sent to GY is great as well... since it’s not even tied to itself but can be activated by either their or your other cards effects , card destruction for instance.
Great support , the one thing fabled now need is a new BOSS Fabled monster, lv 10 or 12... with an protective effect or negating effect.

The level 6 synchro is HOPT. You aren't playing a glass cannon deck like Fabled to try to resolve an effect on turn 4 when you blew through 11/15 of your extra deck spots on turn 1.
Until they have own boss. They should stick to Stardust Quasar series as the boss 😂

This support is great, not too op and just enough to make new plays and fix older ones. Andraith is a lot better than people give credit for, so it's appreciated that you thought it wasn't too bad. What no one notices though is his ability is tied to SPECIAL summoning, so the trap and other cards will work with it. It's surprising how often you can use the trap when they have either 1 / 0 cards left in their hand on the opponent's turn.
indeed... and if they have zero cards in hand the effect is an automatic draw 2 and discard 1. And given it goes off when Special Summoned and not just Synchro summoned is great.
Fable Danger Dark World, got it.
Raven is also an okay Normal Summon if you're running Dark World and Danger cards.
Whats next mist valleys or allies of Justice. Hell at this point we may even get g-next support.

The new synchro is extra cool because you can use the lvl 1 tuner to synchro summon it off of Ragin, the only Fabled synchro worth a damn. Also am I correct in that if they use a hand trap you not only steal it but negate its negation? If so thats amazing.
I about to say if Fabled andraith had the synchro summon cause it be a pretty bad cause I dunno how they make a fabled extra deck and isn't a decent synchro for it archetype besides unicorn

there is its called chaos fabled and its confusing as hell to play with as your main discard power is the fabled or danger monsters and not the swarm of spell cards that are designed to help out. the problem being that infernity relies specifically on having NO cards in your hand to get off their effs and fabled can have trouble doing that as the whole deck is very monster reliant; however, the new fabled cards are very good bois as they can now do a shit ton of new loops depending on your deck. my version of fabled is a 48 card pile of garbage and im still able to spam trish crystal wing and brionac.

I have waited so long for this. The Main Deck wasnt really the part that needed love but its great to have regardless, but having an actually great Fabled Synchro is fantastic. Ragin was always decent, there are some fun Turbobuilds, Valkyrus is just a high level play extender and Leviathan is fucking garbage.
Now lets see how long it takes until someone breaks the shit ton of not once per turn effects

Multiple non once per turn effects in a synchro spam deck I can already see the cheese
I mean the deck has always been high roll cheese. They could always theoretically drop the most quasars/trishulas or whatever, but when the playstyle revolves around only playing with the top cards of your deck with hyper librarian/ragin you are going to have mixed results.

Tour guide into kushano is a 1 card needlefiber, if you happen to want to go that route
