They made the red planet flat-ish because of how close it is to the player, so that the parallax effect would not be so apparent.
You can probably noticed how it shifts position below you as you move around the map, and if it was truly spherical, you would easily see how it's top (central) part shifts relative to it's "edges" a lot.

I think Halo Reach had two low gravity maps, Anchor 9 and Condemned. Anchor 9 had the portion that was outside the station with the rocket launcher, and Condemned had the central room where the artificial gravity was malfunctioning (or maybe the reactor room is just like that idk).

There was also Zealot, where there were man cannons that launched you in a low gravity section above the main area.

343 has such a diverse set of map people that they have a flat earther, a regular sphere bro and the guy in between who found a middle ground to be able to continue working with the other two the somewhat flat from an angle guy

My first 4 times playing this map, we end up getting spawn trapped by the pelican, it just seems broken this map, after my 6th consecutive game with this map, I've started quiting matches

No this map fucking sucks ass! Can’t walk around without falling off. And the thing that I hate about halo is the floating feeling while jumping. I hate feeling vulnerable and this map turns this to 11. This map is garbage
