@@tommygun8617 I agree with you. I seriously doubt rich kids who parents are Bill Gates or Elon Musk's or Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg their kids do not know about the family being wealthy. And not knowing there are poor kids in the world.
Bro, do you hate billionaires and rich people?
If you think being rich and isolated is bad try being poor and isolated .
Isolation is Bad at both ends ...
Being poor and isolates
stealth wealth is the key
If you're rich, you can live poor if you want. It doesn't work the other way.
Scratch that: " try being poor and neglected "
Lmao, as a former addict and a person of generational poverty, I can assure you I did drugs for the exact same goddamn reason. That dude is literally just telling poor people they don't want to be rich so the rich can stay rich and not be publicly executed by the working class. Their misery comes from wealthy isolation, our misery comes from desperation AND isolation from working dead end jobs all the time just to stay afloat. Being poor is not a gift, because we don't live in a meritocracy.
Agreed, as someone who’s in law enforcement. I can’t say first hand but only from an outside perspective. Hope all is good bro.

Exactly! And tbh this doc is mistaking poor with middle class. I grew up poooor, in the projects, where I couldn't turn on the heater in winter 'cause it cost too much! Middle America is NOT poor!
Bing Ringo!!! Agreed!!
Yes, but your statement kinda makes suffering of these people less painful. It is not true. The challenges are different and difficult for everyone
Life is suffering it doesn't matter whether you are rich or poor.
When you're miserable you don't really care that much about what your money can buy because you no longer really want anything money can buy.
Get rich, raise your kids slightly upper middle, don't tell your kids that you're rich, go on nice vacations, raise them to have character and care about others, don't give them everything they want, make them work for things, tell them about the wealth after they're all grown and have already accomplished things for themselves.
I agree with you 100%. However, you can have both. You don’t have to hide the wealth you have built and you can still teach your children values/principles of life and actually enforce it. Many of the elite do this. If I’m wealthy I’m not hiding a darn thing from my child but he will darn well work his tail off for everything he wants (as he does now). No handouts. No favors.

He explained that If you start off poor and become rich you'll feel like the king / queen of the world rather than starting off with vast amounts of wealth you didn't earn. It's very popular to hate on the wealthy but I wouldn't want to be isolated from my family, friends, and 99.99% of the population by something I had no control over
@@busybossybee at least they dont have to work. many adults in poor communities are isolated too they need to work 60/70/80 hours a week to provide on top of that, you think they got money to buy a nanny if they have kids. why do you think so many turn to crime? you see your single mother struggling to put food on the table every week for you, trying her hardest what choices do you have, its very easy to turn to selling drugs or robbing. its a cycle, boohoo ur mental health is shit at least you can get treatment for it.
I don't think being born into a rich family is bad. I think the parents are terrible at being parents.

I disagree with the drug part.
Both rich and poor become drug addicts/ alcoholic because they try to escape reality. It's rarely for fun for anyone.
No it's because they're bored
One does it for being bored with their life while the other(poor) to cope with their harsh life.
@@myronbourne6937 Yes. But I'm assuming the boredom stems from escapism because alternate states of mind are really exciting. But when it comes to addiction, it actually loses its fun.
Alas, that's personal experience, so maybe I am generalizing :)
Damn, rich people are sad about being rich? Sounds more like they're depressed because they're morally bankrupt. They can cry harder.
🎯
Quantum leap. Circumstances of birth don't define your character, there are great people and shitty people born to all walks of life.
That is so dumb. Rich people don’t have to be morally bankrupt, and they can have their suffering. There are a lot of people in the world who can call you rich, and say that your suffering is kinda privileged, so it doesn’t matter. Well, it does, as well as suffering of those people
So people are bad cause they're born rich? Sounds like discrimination.

It's easy to say when you've lived an entirely different life. So you coming in a blank slate versus coming in now is a different mentality.
The video said it wasn't the wealth that was the problem to rich kids but the super high expectations from their family, family suing each other, being poor and unprepared for life when they leave home and work, or having to grind in working too.
What a heart of gold. Let's share that burden because they have large amounts anyway.

Unfortunately none of the problems mentioned are exclusive to rich kids, in fact I’m convinced poor people experience all of this as well.
They do.
It's essentially the human experience. As a teenager, you're trying to get out of your parents shadow and become your own person. It manifests itself in different ways.
Your video proved nothing to any poor person. We would all love to have the problems they are constantly crying about. I would love to be called spoiled brat.😮
That’s easy for us to say as the poors, you don’t know what it’s like to grow up like that. I’m sure those kids would say they would love to switch places with us. Seems like the real key is to just appreciate your life and all the good and bad that comes with it.

Does it not matter how we feel because we aren’t dirt poor?
@@bpnation37beautifully said….
The main difference I see between being born ultra rich vs poor, is that the ultra rich can choose to live like a normie for “fun”. Like the guy riding the subway whose mom said “this is fun! Everyone should do it!” They get to choose to do that, but if it’s ever annoying or they wish not to anymore they can. A poor person can’t. If their life depends on the subway they have to ride it no matter what. A normie can’t just hop on a private jet and say “oh wow, how fun, everyone should do this”. Most people will never get the opportunity to fly on a private jet, let alone first class.
True'
If flying in a private jet or first class was some magic potion for lifelong happiness - no rich person would commit suicide or drink/drug themselves to death. That you cite this as some good to aspire shows the degenerate materialist culture that the rich perpetuate and the rest eagerly adopt.
This is so true, and also so funny!

I could see how living would be far more difficult though in NY or NJ even being financially disciplined.
I can’t believe that these people complain about being called spoiled brats. That’s exactly what they are.
I used my mind to experience the feeling of having rich parents and it's just not as it seems it has its bad side like low to no motivation at all like You as a person have a reason to wake up and walk into work theirs a goal your tryna achieve but when u don't have one and u don't ever in your life worked for nothing it gives a bad mentality the feeling that everything comes easy but the moment that large supply of money runs out your gonna be hit harder than the average person bcuz u don't know how to work save or spend money correctly who ever read this eassy may god bless you

Seeing poor isn't the same as being poor. It's not missing a meal that wears at your spirit, it's watching your kids miss meal after meal, with no hope in sight, no prospects, no future. People who are poor actually die, from lack of medicine, or treatment, or undiagnosed disease, from the violence that is bigger where homes are smaller, where you can be a target or collateral damage, where you might take foolish risks to make some badly needed money because you have no soft place to land, day after day.
"I was weird as a kid I climbed to the top of trees and make weird noises to scare people" Wut?! Me and my mates (bare in mind I had a lot of friends between about three groups) all used to do that. It's called being a small boy.
In the documentary he stated he did this because of all the drugs he used lol
This is a lie they just don’t want you to get money
💯%
I’m thinking the same thing lol
They want more money to fill up their wallets and by another sports car, it’ll surely cure their emptiness
Money takes away ambition. What do you do when everything is at your feet and you've already done everything while growing up? Money is only fun when broke, otherwise its one less hurdle to life.
When you're that rich, you start wars, take other people's resources, and destroy everthing they have, and then get the politicians you bought, to subsidize your projects with tax payer dollars and give you tax breaks and make even more money.

Hot take: Jake should donate all his wealth once he has kids and start from scratch in a totally new field.Just so his kids know how to struggle and what it's like to grow up in poverty
What a load of crap. If they're so miserable they can give me their money and find out what real problems are.
Thier moeny isnt the issue . Thier environ wont change . Offer them a change of the things they lacked that you had and they would trade happily because theyw got sick of it . Despite they will hate your problems later and you will hate thiers
It’s about the mindset my friend. Your attitude can move mountains
@xcept7355 All talk. No one ever puts their money where their mouth is.
My parents were well off, not super rich. my parents argued constantly about money. Mom filed for divorce many times. No holiday would be complete without some vicious fight about money. Family members that came over for dinners would be so kiss assey to my parents it was unbelievable. I was adopted so didnt get much when they passed away, the "real" family members made sure of that. Im poor and struggling, never could live up to what my Dad accomplished. my kids grew up poor and hate me for it....but I guess I gave them a blessing. :)
I myself have been on both of the extreme ends…and being poor was worse bc you had extra things to worry about on top of the other problems
Doesn’t look that sad to me🧐
Pure bullshit… poor Rick kids, boo hoo
I know right, and they are not forced to be sophisticated and miss out on their childhood. They actually get to do a lot of fun stuff. You see how many Ski Trips they go on lol. They just go around partying and living life. This video is not true at all. The whole high expectation thing is only true for some rich families, not all.
this is not your normal rich families this is extreme wealth @@zer0k4ge
Trump knew this and thats why during the summer, his kids had to work for the family business to pay for school. They grew up yo be well rounded adults who value the working class.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
If they're so miserable and unhappy then why don't they give all their money and assets away to charity and live a simple life.
@2:45 "Has never seen a single person from a poor community as remotely mentally ill as.."
Yes, well there's a very simple reason for that, really. They don't last very long being poor
Yeah this is all bullshit
Moral of the story is you have to be a son/dauther to a very rich psychologist couple 😅
or maybe the problem is bad parenting
Nobody feels empathy for the wealthy one
Empathy is a human experience. Wealthy ones usually never had experienced it, how could they feel empathy?
why would i feel empathy for wealthy when they can buy one?
@@QWERTY-gp8fdyou can not buy empathy
its divine justice. all the exploitation the billionaires do, and then their kids suffer.
Wow wow wow. Thats cold. The billionaire made the choice to exploit others to get that wealth. Why would or why should their kids suffer for that? Their kids didn't ask to be born.
Isolated and not being able to afford nutritious food sucks worst.
Eating bread that grocery stores are throwing out because it’s $0.50 a bag, your belly is full but your body is weak.
"I took my mum the other day to subway and she was like more people should do this its fun ." Damn iconic😂😂😂😂
I think the biggest blessings anyone can ask for as far as we are talking about issues in this video is considerate and wonderfull parents... whether you are rich or poor doesn't matter
I was born in the poorest of the poor in my area eating in soup kitchens and living in cars and shelters, getting beat up and my mom getting robbed on multiple occasions. Till I got adopted at age 12 but speaking from experience doing drugs is not about just being bored for anyone it’s just the easiest and cheapest way to achieve high levels of dopamine.
Being “bored” can be used for almost any decision that someone makes just because we ain’t worried about surviving like we were 1000 years ago.
The difference is that poor people strive to be rich and rich people would never think of that transition
One thing I notice is nearly everything these rich kids talk about and are concerned about is what other people think about them. Like that is the hardest thing about their life, like everybody else who isn’t born wealthy doesn’t have to learn how to get over what others think of them? Maybe because that is one of only a handful of aspects of their life they can’t control, and they don’t know how to accept what they can’t change!
I feel soooooo sorry for those rich spoiled brats
You know what is worse? When the rich kid’s parents are Asian 😂😂😂
Only people with money can say this 🐂 ish
I'm only at 1:38 and I already feel terrible for how much they suffer. I'm so glad I'm poor.
Jake is simply wrong on this one, I’m African grew up on refugees camps, and now I have some money, and I would rather have the money and the first world problems, if they are so sad give the money away for 10 years, then get it back and talk to us about it
Both are clueless.
@@kaeble2389 they are both disconnected

Conclusion: If you’re rich, buy top-tier psychologists, and don’t forget, problem solved.
being born rich or poor doesn't matter. what matters is the type of parents you get. if you are born rich, but your parents are good parents - they will pay attention to you and raise you right and you will have the best life without the downsides. if you are born poor and you have shitty parents - gg for you.
When you grew up poor and isolated with parents constantly working to put food on the table. Yet, you often get bullied too at school. You are lucky you did not end up in jail growing up hanging out with gangs. 💀
THIS DOCUMENTARY IS NOT MEANT TO MAKE POVERTY LOOK GOOD, IT'S MEANT TO SHOW WHAT MOST RICH KIDS GO THROUGH.
Being born rich to me feels like you start the game from the end and you can go all over the game without feeling any consequence except if you voluntarily do the dumbest things.
While being born poor you don’t even know on what are you going to play(beginner, medium, veteran or survival), and your every step and action leaves more impact, and while you try to “farm” XP that same rich kid passes by you from the end and speed runs all your goals, cause his game is pay to win and yours is earn to win.
Sometime it feels meaningless.
Sleeping with beautiful women is a lot more fun and significant when you are poor or in the middle class.
I rather be rich and get the top shelf women to have fun with. 😂😂😂
First world problem.
Sorry, I can’t muster a piece of sand to feel for these ppl! Bye
I have known a lot of rich kids that are nice very humble , productive and hardworking
Growing as a rich kid is not an issue in itself if your parents teached you how to be humble and to depend on yourself, being raised as a spoiled kid and getting everything you want is the biggest problem, it all about how you where raised as a child
Why getting everything is biggest problem
Andrew Tate was right, you can't enjoy/appreciate wealth if you have never been poor
Bs the reason why wealthy people are unhappy has nothing to do with money.
It’s emptiness, they then try to fill it up with money
Poor people also take drugs because they hate their lives too.
We aren’t rich, but my dad does make six figures
I’ve spent my life with the belief that I’m eventually going to end up in his corporate world, feeling that one day I will be stuck in that office which to me, feels like a prison… as I got older, I started to realize that he actually enjoys his lifestyle, but I never can because I’m a different type of person
Poor people also do drugs cuz their miserable…. Goofy
The problem isn't the money, it's being raised without consequences or knowledge of your fellow man. Something that goes wrong from their parents, through school, through life. Money itself is an uncaring object, but humans are shit.
