This guy really knows his stuff. And he practices the "stay at base" strategy that I also practice. If you know a spot that fish consistently visit then don't leave it. They come and go different times and a lot of times we leave one spot that was about to "wake up" to go to a different spot that is currently in a lull. Now you have just started a vicious cycle on yourself and it's no one's fault but yourself. Stay confident when fishing, just like any sport or hobby if your not confident in what your doing you will not show fruits of your labor. I have seen guys fish in ways many would consider complete insanity, but they were confident and they caught fish! Great videos I really enjoyed them and felt like I learned something instead of just watching a guy brag on how many fish he can catch or advertise lures all night.

Matching the hatch where you are is very important. We have huge walleyes hitting every fall on rebel crickets, the 1 to 1 1/2 inch sizes, the cricks here are full of crawdads that size and the walleyes will hit anything the right size and tight fast vibration. Last 6-day full moon phase I caught 38 eyes, three of them 32, 33, 35 inches and the rest between 22 and 26 inches. The "hole" I was fishing was about 5 feet wide and 50 long with a depth of 4 to 5 feet.

Smart, in depth, easy to follow, moon phase timing info great. I night troll Lake Erie in fall only. We've got some pigs this year. We're fishing shallower depth than he's teaching though but same principles apply. I especially like the idea of finding the fish that are sitting without the resistance of all the water, and how to use a swimbladders to rise up and down to feed. Great info good job

Thanks a bunch! I've never caught one yet, had literally zero confidence, not anymore.
