Intelligent Assistance: IA versus AI (Gerd Leonhard)

I think we should talk less about AI and more about intelligent assistance (IA), which includes smart technology such as cars, airplanes, and cities. IA essentially makes things 'not dumb,' contrasting with the misconception of AI as ExMachina. I also discuss the ethical concerns of AI in warfare, particularly the dangers of autonomous drones identifying and attacking targets without human supervision.
