My 1 Day "Holiday" in Cornwall by Van!

Join me for a trade plate delivery journey to Cornwall and then back, in one day - 540 miles and just about 20 minutes on the beach! But in its own way, it felt a bit like a one day holiday. It's a long day though, setting off on a cross-country road trip from West Sussex to Perranporth early in the morning - before travelling back via bus and train to Hampshire. I live just outside Perranporth now but spent my teenage years in Ash Vale travelling to Farnham every day to go to schoo all in one trip. The beach is 3 miles long and can be nearly 1 wide at spring tide

Was in Penzance with my wife and boys two weeks ago. Love Cornwall (will definitely visit again), took the same route you have (albeit from North London from Potters Bar J24). Our second was at the same services (St Austell) for a stretch of let's and let's the boys have a quick play. That service stop was apparently the best rated from what my wife found online according to reviews.

Do you have to wash the van before delivery?

I don't personally, TMC has a valeting team who will have prepared the vehicle before it heads out.
