Great review! I hink I might go with the V60 in 2021. Battery life of 10hrs SOT nails it for me. Also I do like great stereo speakers. The only thing I don't like is the size of the phone. I would prefer it to be a bit more compact. 74mm is wide enough for me.
I'll make it easy. If you like movies and gaming, v60. If you need something comfortable for on the go, g8. The v60 is really big and I had some wrist problems after a while. Great comparison of my favorite 2 phones! To be honest, I don't care about the small bezel hype. I do prefer the displays of both of the LG's over any so called flagship phony phone out there with fancy useless edge displays anyway. Plus to put head phone jacks on a flagship phone nowadays isn't seen anymore apart from, let's say, Sony which I guess is seeing head phone jacks as nostalgia as the former inventer of a super successful portable audio device back in the 80's, the famous Walkman. Samsung quit the head phone jack since their last great phone they did, the Galaxy S10 plus, which, bummer, came with an edge display and was still around when the V60 came up which then of course was competing with the Galaxy S20 series...and ate them alive. Too bad that on the Flip Phone LG cut corners on the Quad Dac together with the head phone jack. And too bad that as of now they left the mobile market all together, mostly because of lousy advertising and slow software updating policies they fell way behind because they just didn't know how to keep their brand popular and not because their phones were lousy which they weren't by no means. But hey, they are still in the market for fridges and such...and some if these with incredible storage...lol.

Hey! I am planning to buy either LG V40 or LG V50 new, as I heard the renewed phones can be either a hit or a miss.
