Hey man, I was sitting here stranded at 11:45 PM an hour from home in a not so great neighborhood in Fargo North Dakota. I had this issue and called my wife to wake up our two little boys and drive all the way over here and pick me up as well as all of my music equipment. While waiting for her I opened up your video and checked that fuse, that fixed the issue!!!!! I was able to call my wife before she left the house so they could get back into bed. I am so very thankful for your video buddy. God bless you.
That you so much for the video, you saved the day and fixed the truck. Your fix was exactly the correct information. thank you so very much!@@THEMOWERMEDIC1
Broooo!!! My truck (2014 f-150) was doing this exact same s***, I watched your video, and it was 100% the # 27 fuse! You saved me like $300+ dollars bro I much appreciate you 💯
You are the MAN!! Thank you so much!! Happened to me twice in a month and was baffled. Stumbled on this video and bam, crunchy number 27 fuse. My 2009 thanks and appreciates you!!
Just helped me out. Was 75 miles out of town and bingo melted fuse.. Pried it out popped in a new one on my way home and relocation kit on the way. Appreciate it!
Mr I wish I had your address to send you a gift. You saved me hours of troubleshooting on top of getting me out of being stranded away from home. Thank you 10 times over for sharing this. God bless! I hope you have a good day!
Thank you so much for this video!! I was stranded an hour from home with this problem and after the first troubleshoot didn’t work, I was worried. Found your video and replaced the fuse which was enough to get home! Showed my husband your video and he’ll attempt this permanent fix.😊
A big shout out to you for your video. I was stranded in the woods but with your help I was able to create a jump on the fuel pump fuse to get it cranked and back to the house. I will order the rewiring fix and get that installed. Until it arrives I just put in another fuse. Much appreciated!!!
@@smokenfilmz4184 a jump is went you replace the fuse with a solid metal. I didn’t say anything about a “jumpstart”. Everyone gets to be a dumbass. Today was your day.
Thanks,,,you saved me money. I've had my truck for yrs and tried to start it this morning with no luck.Found your video and changed fuse. Running great now. Thanks
Perfect video, thanks! I had pulled my pickup up on ramps, turned it off, and proceeded to change my oil. I got all done changing my oil, and went to start the truck and it crank and crank tune would not fire. What the hell could changing the oil have done to make my vehicle not start, LOL? So I look on UA-cam to see if there's any relevant information about a vehicle not starting after oil change, and this video is one of the first to pop up. Boom, easy solution for what could have been a nasty problem.
Thank you! You saved me 2 hours of fooling around with a fuse that has already been converted. Sticker & everything. Fuel pump isn’t working yet but at least this issue is eliminated.
Hi Guy...my truck had this issue 2 days ago. I was sitting stranded and wad stressed about what the problem could be. I searched for videos and your video was the first to pop up. After changing out that fuse my truck started right up!!! Im so grateful for you at a very stressful time and would like to sincerely thank you for being on here giving us your knowledge 🙏🏾 Im definitely subbing to your page
First an engraved Thank You for posting this video Now I have always been taught that a fuse does not blow for no reason Is there anything else I should repair Thanks again Conard
My truck just did the same thing, got the parts ordered because I don’t have another vehicle, cross my fingers it will work. Thank you for this video, god knows what a mechanic would charge.
Thank you for this video. My 2009 Ford F150 started this last week. Found this video yesterday at work. As soon as I got home the fuse in spot 27 was not only blown, but burnt. It took me a minute to get it out. Going to attempt the reroute to the new slot tomorrow when the part gets in. You did an amazing job explaining this and hopefully my baby will be running again tomorrow.
Spot on, truck wouldn't start and I found this video at the top of my search, I pulled the fuse and sure enough it was just like he said. Very helpful video
Thank you for this information, if you were here I'd buy you dinner, instead I'll tell my friends how you saved the day and consequently made me look like a guy who fixes things. Semi-stranded. But no more thanks to you. A follow & a like and a huge thank you from Connecticut
Thanks for the video. Quick update on my 09 4.6. similar issue. I did the fuse relocation, and checked the normal things. Bt noticed my truck would not start even on starter fluid in the intake. My problem turned out to be the crank position sensor. This happened about 3 months after replacing my water pump. I think the coolant damaged the sensor. Hope this helps.
I want to thank you so much for your help with the bugs in my truck I thought about taking my shotgun out to put a hole in the bed of my truck for the fuel pump 😂 I'm going to try your method first
Thank you, I have this issue with my 2014 F150, I pushed all the fuses down and was able to get home, AC would not come on until much later.....mechanic told me the fix for this was to replace the Electrical Harness, which means going thru the fire wall and removing the dash. He gave me an estimate of $5000. I felt like it was too much and I was afraid that removing the dash might mean he could not put it back like the factory did.
Thanks for sharing! The starting problem with my 2013 F-150 5.0 was intermittent so I thought the fuel pump was going bad. Checked the # 27 fuse and sure enough, the terminal piece was burned (but the fuse wire was still intact - which explains why the truck would start sometimes and not start other times). I'm going to run with just the new fuse for now (I figure one fuse lasted 10 years before the starting problems began, maybe it will last another 10 years). I now carry some spare 20 amp mini fuses in the truck and if it happens again soon, I'll get the Ford fix kit. You would think Ford would have had a service bulletin or something to correct the problem.
I guess Ford engineer's knew there fuse box was junk when they put it in a very convenient place to work on! In the way to do anything else on the truck!🤣
@@THEMOWERMEDIC1 yes see the problem is , I replaced the #27 fuse , turned out it was burnt out . Still wouldn’t start & I just replaced the whole engine after being diagnosed with a compression issue . Still no start . Now I’m back here trying to figure out if the spot where the #27 fuse insert is just completely burnt out as in replacing the fuse won’t make it start because the connector to the wires is crisp ? hoping this video is my problem.
Great repair !! But I'm not completely sold on the heat shrink/solder .. I would of used the crimp connector supplied in the kit and then soldered and heat shrink.. hope it works out for you !! See you on the next one
I've been using the heat shrink solder connectors on cars and trailers for a few years. Squirrels around my house make lots of harness work. Tree rats!
I'm having a crank no start issue, unfortunately it's not the fuse. My pump says it's on and no fault, the tachometer moves when cranking, mass airflow says no fault. My only guess is fuel pressure at this point.
Even if it is done with a repair sticker, verify it! Mine was done by a dealer but they hooked fuse 70 to the blower motor :(. There are similar wires in the box.
hi there cool video I was wondering what type and model of scaner that is, do you know if it will show live miss fire counts on f-150? and do other tests too like cylinder contrubution tests and fuel deleiver tests?

Had to comment kuz I couldn't believe how easy that was. First video I watched and it's like it was made just for me. I got a 2011 5.0, checked and fuse 27 was burnt out! The only other one that's same fuse is 76, swapped them and started right up. Started shaking right away and all kind of other lights came on so you really need that one too lol. Went and got a pack of fuses for $5, problem solved! Thanks!
So I have the same problem, I checked that fuse and it is good in my situation. I also checked the relay in the passenger side floorboard that tends to get knocked loose. All of these are good. My truck cranks but will not start. So what do you think am I looking at needing a new fuel pump in this case

Great work and fix on that one jeremy 👏 crazy common issue on these ford's like that with the fuel relay fuse issue.

Solder and heat Shrink mine, the solder joint Allows for a lil better connection due to amperage draw from fuel pump .
