I still have my fingers crossed that someday we will get a remaster of this legendary game along with black monday
Sorry to burst your bubble but that will never happen.
@mirkom8275 they would have to pay for licences all over again, most car companies would refuse etc
@@strahinjastevic7480 Agreed.
It was way easier to get licences back then than now.
The infamous red Rover...
Perfect music for that mission. As tense and turbulent as the situation was. Every parent's worst nightmare.
Love how the very first mission threw you right into the deep end.
Me too, great nostalgia.

Absolute nostalgia hearing this. This was my childhood.
"He's here, who is it, Hammond, Ahh fuck!"
Just visioned going up the stairs😂🤣
@@KL-iv1ji Music starts picking up
"Sooooooze! Soooooozie!"
This song is a straight up bop. I know the game has terrible clunky controls but this is a huge mark on gaming history the first uncharted ps3 style exclusive all the way back from 2002. I played both games again last week and it really kicks ass when everything works. It has this max Payne 1 feel to it at times with tons of cheap enemy placements. Boy oh boy what a rush it is to finally finish this and Black Monday. I recommend playing on an emulator. Software mode for the video cutscenes and hardware mode for that sweet 4K gameplay. With save states.
By the way most of the clarinet riffs heard in cutscenes were reused in bully’s Halloween level.
This song hits differently when you are driving through a county with a warrant
wait what
LOVE IT
in the music video for Boiler, by Limp Bizkit, from 0:00 to 0:29, is this the same song from The Getaway on ps2?
is the same chords, but no is this sample
Holy shit, you may be right!
this game is not from capcom
It always puzzles me, it's possible The Getaway was originally released by Capcom
Hey, I checked Capcom is the publisher of this game
@@rafaelvasik No, Sony publish
@@rafaelvasik It was published by Capcom in Japan only. SCE everywhere else.
@@michaelw9285 Weird, i wonder why Sony Interactive Entertainment in Japan didn't want to publish it there and preferred to give it to Capcom, i guess they didn't think it would sell well enough in Japan to warrant the effort
