I happen to know for fact that Frank W. Dux is for real. I too had a very interesting career in the military and CIA. It all started when I was 16 years old. Due to my martial arts prowess, I was recruited by the U.S. Navy and flew M1 Abrams tanks off carriers for them. I served in the same squadron with Tom Cruise, Val Kilmer, and Flash Gordon (he was best man at my wedding to Miss Saigon). I even went to Top Gun School with Tom and Val and won the Trophy. My Tank racked up more kills than all the other tanks in my Squadron, combined. Later on, my Squadron CO accused me of being TOO aggressive. So I had to knock him out with a spinning Flying Squirrel kick to the balls. Needless to say, I spent some time in the brig where the guards made us prisoners fight in Kumite style Death Matches which they took bets on. The guards would host the matches and secretly bring in VIPs from high levels of govt and industry. Some of the people who watched me fight were the President of the United States, the VP, Secretary of Defense, Senators, Congressmen, Pat Sajack from Wheel of Fortune, and the manager of the Waffle House. After executing several hundred prisoners, it was determined that I was too deadly to be kept in the brig so I was transferred over to the U.S. Coast Guard where I flew B-2 Stealth Bombers because they were short pilots and bombardiers. I never needed a bombardier on my crew because I can use my Chi to guide bombs to the target with pinpoint accuracy. After single handedly destroying an entire enemy special forces army, I was recruited by the CIA. I can't talk much about what I did for the CIA, but let's just say I have more confirmed kills than ALL OTHER CIA Agents, Army SEALs, Navy Delta Forces, Air Force Recon, and Marine Corps Para Rescue... COMBINED. Due to my amazing prowess in the field, the Director of the CIA personally selected me to become the youngest ever, and one of only 12 Pokemon trainers in the entire CIA. You gotta a catch 'em all.... that's what I did. Due to the extremely high classification of the project and need for absolute secrecy, our Base of Operations was Skull Island. Consequently, my final classified mission was coordinating with British MI6, the Royal Family,..... Because there have been multiple attempts on my life by Russian Spetznatz, Yakuza Ninja, and Sub-Saharan Oompa-Loompa commandos; they've also provided me with a substantial guard detail while I write my memoirs. My publisher is already in negotiations with Disney and it looks like we're well on our way to my life story becoming part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe....whatever the hell that is.... Bottom line is, there are a lot of people out there who pretend to be something they're not. Everything in my life story is 100% factual. I know because I lived it. People like Dux, Steven Segal, Stallone, the Power Rangers (briefly served with them too), the Teletubbies, Derek Zoolander...these are all great Patriotic Americans but at the end of the day when you compare their on or off-screen achievements to mine.... I simply make them all look like sopping wet, velvet-lined pussies.... Not bragging... Just stating fact....

im not defending frank dux as a disclaimer. ive read through some of the other comments and noticed a similar pattern to other threads in response to martial arts videos, the common recurrence is, many people claim that the application of joint locks are somehow not real or not painful or cant/dont work on the streets. as any professional fighter of a full contact combat sport will attest, a triangle, an armbar, a blood choke are extremely effective in stopping the fight. again i am not crediting frank dux! i am highlighting the fact that martial arts techniques can be used to great efficiency and should not be overlooked any any self defense arsenal.

You did defend him. And it's ridiculous. You mentioned Brazilian jiu jitsu techniques as if that's what he was teaching. He's not. What he teaches DOES NOT REMOTELY WORK. Will probably get you killed if you try it because in short order your opponent will beat the dog shit out of you. He is just a fake who made up techniques that aren't applicable in a fight anywhere. He shows a grip in which a child could break and acts like it can't be broken. BJJ works in a real fight. Everyone knows that buddy. So does boxing that is a martial art too. No one is under the illusion that martial arts don't work. Some are fake. Some don't work at all. Infact many. Such as kung fu and a lot of other baloney. Frank Dux couldn't beat most random men in a fight and his techniques are worse than not knowing how to fight because they teach you to do things that have zero chance to work. At least throwing punches you have a chance

Vincent Gaspar Another Dux nutrider. A demo is supposed to showcase the effectiveness of the technique. This is a crappy technique being applied to a clumsy and unresisting attacker. It's shit training. If you consistently trained in this manner than you would be in for a bad time against an aggressive and resisting attacker.
Techniques are supposed to be pressure tested against resisting attackers but with appropriate control. Why do you think BJJ and Kyokushin guys get so good?
Stop watching kung fu movies and Naruto. Martial arts don't work that way.

@Ljenkins9000: I said MMA and UFC were trying to corner the market; they do this by discrediting traditional styles. By being affiliated to them, Bullshido is complicit in reducing martial arts to the level of mere kickboxing and wrestling by stripping away the philosophical and historical elements.
The Bujinkan doesn't engage in sports tournaments because, frankly, martial arts isn't a sport. A real fight is nothing like a tournament, and it's right that there are styles that understand that.

Before anyone claims Frank is a fraud which by the way I'm not defending him I'm just saying martial arts are real and used in MMA all the time and seen in the UFC. Some of Frank's techniques are too deadly for the UFC and are against the rules. Anyway I used to work with Frank back in the day. We were both contracted by the US army to infiltrate North Korea and replace Kim Jong IL with a body double who actually was an American agent look alike. Let's just say Kim Jong Un is actually an American citizen. Wonder why he loves basketball and Denis Rodman so much? Anyway, we fought from room to room doing spinning kicks and various dragon maneuvers. We skipped out on the CIA and ran to China for the yearly Kumite. They hosted every living US president in attendance..world leaders.. Trump was there. He had Frank break a brick with his death touch. He went to go hit it and Trump said NO! ...Bottom One! It was incredible. He didn't break a single break except the bottom brick. Anyway, we saw many celebrities in attendance and various dignitaries. There were a few regional managers from Wendy's in attendance who were having a conference there. All varieties of people. We had great times. I once saw Frank break a record of 27 bones of one of his opponents.. a former champion of Muy Thai Fung...Wu. I can verify everything Frank has said is true. That man saved my life on many occasions. I was literally blown out of the sky in my fighter jet.. as I was falling to Earth with no parachute Frank punched out the window of his jet and grabbed my arm and threw me in the backseat. He turned around and we high fived and I put my seatbelt on. Last time I saw him he had my crawl into the driver's seat and he jumped onto the back of a Russian Mig. He made it home safe. A whole lot of Russians didn't. Frank's the kind of man who as we all know has a kumite record of 272-0. But he really to be honest is being humble and under stating his accomplishments. He could go on but he doesn't want to seem like a brag.

Exactly! In our style we have Sensei James Thompson. I met him a couple times, really cool dude, who was just recently promoted to 10th Dan, and from what we understand, he didn't even want that "title". Most good martial artists and fighters, that I know of, do not promote themselves, unless they're "selling" the fights for UFC and whatnot. Much respect! You'd prolly beat the crap out of Dux =)

"The accuracy of many of Dux's personal claims have been disputed, including his martial arts background, fighting in the "Kumite", and prior military service. According to the Los Angeles Times, the organization that allegedly staged the Kumite had the same address as Dux's house, and the trophy he claims to have won was bought by him at a local trophy store. This was disputed by Dux, who claimed the receipt was fabricated. He also claims his critics are part of a conspiracy to discredit him"

    • @Fleau1981
      @Fleau1981 8 років тому +1

    • @matnak8686
      @matnak8686 6 років тому

Frank Dux gets ass kicked by Zane Frazier !
    Taken from Karate International
Magazine Nov 1993 from Jay T. Will's column "Kempo Korner":
"UNREST AT THE MARTIAL ARTS TRADE SHOW.
    ---------------------------------------
At the second annual Draka Martial Arts Trade Show held at the Century
City Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles, California, a skirmish broke out between
Kenpo Black Belt and WKA's #1 rated heavyweight kickboxing contender Zane
Frazier and Grand Master Frank W. Dux. As many of you know, Frank Dux is
the character the film "Blood Sport" was modeled after. According to
several well known black belts (Frank Trejo, Ray Wizzard) present at the
incident, Dux moved in on Frazier and Frazier hit Dux several times in the
face dropping Dux to the floor. Frazier finished the action by body
slamming him into the next booth. Security officials restored order to
the trade show with no further incidents. Glad to hear Zane survived the
    incident without serious injury."

I saw the movie blood sport, an bolo is good in any of his movies. Frank dux video was great. Nof this one, but the real dux. 6-7-15 when blood sport came on. Look at all the shootings, an stabings, an women being messed with. An is on the rise.but when theres a street fight nothing is out of bounds. Thats what street fighting is, any thing an everything. Right? Fight or flee.I live in wash. Dc on the pg line. The crime is on an in every age group. Its bad its like dodge city. But you cant just take a walk with out that being on your mind, coming an going. The movie pi I think is the name, is a realy good quick flick, of kunfu an special fighting. The actor does whin chung fighting. Which he does in front an behind the camera. Realy good!!!! I hope some one has seen it.!!!

You guys are saying how fake all this is but look you who Frank Dux is first. He has been tested well before MMA started, was already doing MMA and the rules to the ones he did were far less than the MMA you see today. Actually that wrist lock is not so hard to do if you know what you are doing. And, yes I am talking a out in a real fight against someone who had good training under their belt.
With the right teaching, if you can block, you can apply that wrist lock. It so works well against big super strong guys. My teacher was 5 foot 10 inches and 135lb and would do it on me all the time when actively sparing, with real contact. I started at 6 foot 3 inches, 250 lb, 15% body fat at my worst- 3% body fat at my best when training with my teacher, Played Linebacker, and workout bench at 500lb.

Bande d'ignorant.

@Ljenkins9000: Bullshido has MMA banners all over the website; it is clearly run by MMA members.
What I'm saying is that the MMA and UFC have a vested interest in convincing people that martial arts consist solely in their style of competitive tournament fighting. This is not the case, and is in fact a subversion of the martial arts. When someone trains only for the ring, he develops habits that really will get him killed in a real fight. Real martial arts is not about points; MMA is a sport.
