the comedy of seeing your friends terrified outweighs the unpleasantness of being scared yourself. plus everything about the game is so comical, the run and dance animations are so good
The ear piercing rendition of All I Want For Christmas tailed by the blood curdling scream as you looked round the corner to see a thumper rushing down the corridor at 29:40 was A+ comedy timing. Haven't laughed so hard in a long time

With friends it becomes a sort of comedy-horror game. For every scary moment you get like 5 funny moments
it's like 5 mental steps away from playing Binding of Isaac TOPS; It makes perfect sense
