If you have the true style coilovers like the on in the video you can completely get rid of the spring in the back. You will need to keep the bucket if you do not have dedicated rear camber arms!
that’s because there’s preload on the bar. You need to set it up so that the holes line up then set preload back into the bar. Plenty of youtube videos on how to do it! Hope this helps
The coilovers are “true” style so it gets rid of the rear springs. You can run just the spring bucket but your toe adjustment for alignments will be very limited. I would recommend getting the toe arm so that you can get your toe alignment to spec.
Hello brother, tell me please, have you done chassis reinforcements before installing true coilovers? Some people are telling me I can't install true coilovers without chassis reinforcement! What are the spring rates on your coilovers?
you don’t need anything for true coilovers. I would highly recommend camber and toe arms for the adjustments. Once you get rid of the OEM spring you will be very limited on your toe and camber adjustment. The spring rate is whatever the standard for what BC has it as when you purchase it. Hope this helps!
Thank you brother, appreciate that! I already have all the set of control arms, camber arms from ISR, but running on OEM style TEIN coilovers, want to swap to true coilovers, but, BC racing told me that I should do chassis reinforcements before installing it! They suggest 9/5 KG/MM spring rate
If you want comfort i would just stick with stock suspension. Coilovers will always result in a stiffer ride quality. The purpose of coilovers is to make your ride stiffer and lower to increase handling performance.
holy amazing content man cant wait for more~~!!!
Yo bro I have a question I recently installed my bc coilovers and do I need the stock spring in order to lower the back of my car?

hey bro, after u installed the coilovers, did u put the strut bar back on or did you just leave it off?
I put it back on
@@albertdo_ did you have fitment issues when you put it back on?
@@albertdo_for some reason, i can’t put mine back on because it won’t lined up with the holes for the bolts to go in

@@albertdo_ thank you, i figured it out!!!
is there a reason you changed the toe bolt and camber arm when installing this? can you get away with just the coilovers?

@@albertdo_ cheers mate!
Tools needed for this installation
All you really need is simple hand tools. I believe a 14&17mm socket and maybe an extension and that’s all!

Never heard of people doing chassis reinforcement before but I believe you should be good!
Okay brother, thank you, means I won't do it too 😂 Good luck for you!
Now these are the kind of vids I can watch while eating
Don’t use chrome sockets on a impact, get proper impact sockets
At the time I didn’t know about this but now I do! Thanks for the advice!
Which ones did you get when I go to the website looks like there are different options
I got the BR series and RH version of the coil overs
How did you get or measure the right spacers for your car?
I just measured from the face of the tire to where I wanted it to sit. Very easy!
would you recommend those bc racing coil overs?
Yes as a budget option they are great! If you have more money defiantly splurge one some Fortune Autos!
Is it comfortable to ride? How is it on the bumps?
I love it! Have been daily driving the car since this video and can’t complain!
@@albertdo_ I have KW Variant 1 and I don't like it. I can feel everything. If it feels like luxury suspension I am switching. Thanks!
