I have high hopes this game will be fixed. Even on lower end systems I have tested, the game will not fully load cores correctly which makes me think there is massive room for improvement. I changed a few settings in windows and have like 90% less stutters. I added the .exe of the game to the graphics settings and told it to favor performance, not in the nvidia app but in windows settings. There was a few other things I did as well. I used a video on youtube with this AI voice. I almost did not watch it but glad I did. I did all of the adjustments up until he recommends downloading a stalker 2 "optimization package"

I'm glad you made a video to test the 4070 super, I'm also using the 4070 super FE, but playing AAA games at native 2K resolution is still not satisfactory, I'll probably upgrade to the 4080 FE in the near future.

I've got a RTX 3090 and I'm guessing I'll get similar performance on 1440p. The 4070 is definitely not as dated as the 3090 but I just enjoy having loads of VRAM. Wanted to upgrade to 4K gaming a while ago however with more and more games having extremely lackluster optimization, I will continue playing on 1440p just to get those extra frames.
imagine buying a brand new 4070 super in spring of 2024 thinking this will be your rock solid 1440p gaming rig for the next 4 years, only to find out 6 months later that you have to play at 1080p to stay above 60 fps or use dlss and frame gen to play at 1440p.
if you care about ray tracing then people who bought this gpu are used to it since day one lol... you cant run ray tracint at 1440p60 native with this card... dlss quality is roughly 66% of 1440p pixels (960p), thats a big difference...
You can see later in the video that the card is perfectly able to maintain 60fps at 1440p high, no DLSS or FG. There's no need to make up a narrative just by looking at max settings, which everyone knows do little to visuals and cost a lot of performance.
@@0M0rty It's not. Sure it maintains over 60 FPS in the "wild" but in more crowded areas with a lot of textures it drops to lower 50s so it's not like it maintains over 60 FPS all the time.
i would recommended 3060 or 2070 and AMD RX6600 as minimum for this game and 2025 year... Lowest possible 2060, but it's really on the edge especially 6gvram version. I would recommend RX 6600 or XT version when comes to prices=perfomance compare to 2060 and 3060
I tried framegen many times and the extra input lag even from base 90fps is to much for me. It just not acceptable technology, more frames visualy plus extra input lag. What is the point.

I'm using a 24-inch 1440p monitor, and I cant notice any difference between DLSS Quality and DLSS Balanced- because the image remains incredibly sharp either way on this size. 🙂 (24 inch 1440p and 34 inch 4k has the sample PPI (pixels per inch) by the way.

Unreal Engines Lumen scales with resolution, so any game with it will benefit drastically from DLSS due to less rays being cast because of the lower internal resolution.

Frame gen should be only used as a last resort not a requirement. Gaming companies are forgetting the number 1 rule on making games: make it optimized for most users. A game that needs frame gen to hit 60fps at 1080p on mainstream hardware is laughable and nobody should buy that crap just on principle alone.

I understand 4K native is a waste, but saying 4070 Super is a beast because it can handle 4K (even though it's upscaled from 1080p) is lying to himself and others. Card can't do 4K30 Epic, can barely crack 40fps on High settings, pretty sure can't do 4K60 on Medium. It can do 1440p High/Epic, 4K High DLSS Quality, that's good quality, but essentially it is more of a 1440p card, and it does well in that regard. But paying 650€ for a 1440p card is a bit too high considering how cheap monitors are nowadays, and buyers have the urge to move from 1080p to 1440p/4K and RT. Problem is 200-350€ is plagued with bad 1080p performers. GPU makers literally asking people to spend close to 500€ for a GPU can run things decently.

@@fnggaming89 quality for sure if you still want it to look good, apparently balanced has it's ups and downs so not as recommended while performance is if you want all the fps but it not looking good. With your set up performance is not worth it for you.

Because it cant? DLSS Performance is essentially the same as 1080p. At native 4k Epic it was dropping under 30FPS.
